Update on review. I received a call from customer service and they were genuinely concerned about my feedback and did everything to make my purchase right and they are changing description to add that this will not work with an IPhone with a protective case. They have also created another model that will work with a phone that does have a protective case.This does not work with IPhone 7 Plus in an otterbox case. The clip that holds the phone to mount to the tripod will not open wide enough. Even with the outer rubber shell of the case off it barely fits and that is really stressing the plastic material and spring the clip is made out of beyond what’s designed to do. It may work with just a bare phone but who doesn’t use a protective case these days considering the phones cost $700-$1000 now. I’m not going to remove the case every time I want to use the tripod.

What I really like about this flexible leg tripod is that it can expand to include my iPhone XS with an Otterbox Defender case which adds a considerable amount of thickness. It holds the phone very steady and without issues, the legs are strong, not too think and adjust very well. The pivot ball allows a variety of angles and the legs are heavy enough that it won't fall over if you have it tilted down a bit like if trying to film crawling ants or something creative like that.The legs are so flexible that you can wrap them around a thik tree branch or limb and let it cling to vertical poles, it is just as good to be used while set on the ground and it can account for rough and hilly terrain where the legs don't have to be evenly distributed in height. Overall this was a fantastic mini-tripod and I highly recommend it.I bought it so our friend can play D&D with us remotely with my phone on the tripod while he was using Discord Video to attend remote sessions.

We were looking for a product to use with our Iphone, specifically for face time, this Flexible tripod fit the need perfectly, we also looked at some others and chose this one from Sturdy Tiger because it looked to be more durable and came with the needed accessories for the Iphone and is also very light weight.The legs are very flexible but also rubber coated vs the foam covering we saw on others which makes me feel this will last a long time. The 90 degree movement of the attachment point is great because you can use the phone in both landscape as well as portrait mode.The ability to attach this tripod to practically anything with the flexible legs paired with the included blue tooth remote shutter button is perfect for taking family portraits or selfies anywhere. We are planning to take the Flexible Tripod on our next family vacation to Hawaii!

Pretty good for $5. Weakness is the plastic head base. It creaks whenever you bend the tripod legs into the position you want, will definitely crack & break one of these days. The legs itself are not as pliable as pictured. I tried wrapping it around on a 2" lamp pole, it keeps sliding down but then again, this thing is just $5, sure can't find anything similar at 5 Below.The accessories are a plus I guess if you need it. Mine came with 2 cellphone holders & 2 remotes both look identical, must be a packaging error. I did not buy this to be used on a cell phone so I cannot give an opinion on the adapters & remote.The tripod is sturdy enough to handle a LUMIX GH2 & a Panasonic HC-V180 camcorder.

this type of leg is more flexible and stable that the gorilla type that i have tried. The mount head is attached to the unit so great for vlogging. it holds a dslr no problem. There is a little drooping as you set it up but once you learn how it works it is stronger and more versatile than the gorilla type. The ball mount seems a little weak but so far has not let me down. The added accessories were great, the phone mount is perfect, so is the go pro mount and the phone remote works perfectly with my samsung note. This is a great value i am so glad i got it.

So angry with this purchase, remote refused to turn on so I opened the back of it and couldn’t get the back on. Finally got someone to latch the cheap back on and remote still wouldn’t work! Couldn’t pair it to my iPhone XR or my brothers iPhone 7S wish there was a no star rating. Was so excited to use this thing, ended up so disappointed. The legs aren’t even that bendy and it’s really cheap sadly oh well. Returning and getting my money back :(

The tripod is of good quality and uses a universal screw size for the 360 mount, so it could also be detached and placed on a traditional tripod (or selfie-stick) if needed. The legs are flexible, but not flimsy or super easy to manipulate; they offer some resistance. This could be seen as an area for improvement, but I prefer it as I hope it will help the product last multiple bends over the years and I feel more reassured that the position is more stable and will not move when being used.The only real negative, which was already known before purchase, is the tripod has a small maximum height if being used as a stand (and not gripping to an object); so above shots can't out in a field or in a room that has nothing to latch onto, would be challenging. So, I wish there was a telescoping ability.

The tripod was a little bigger than I expected, but came with so many features and accessories. I really liked the lockable leg adjustment. Rotate the red ring and the legs are locked into a tall, narrow stance. Rotate it again and the legs are locked into a low, wide stance. This was a nice touch for an inexpensive tripod. The ball head rotated easily to desired positions and locked into place with equal ease. The legs are easy to position to either wrap around and object or adjust to uneven terrain. The legs are grippy too. The gopro/action camera adapter worked was expected as did the cell phone holder, even if the phone is in a case. The bluetooth remote worked like a charm and was easy to pair with my cell phone. The included instructions were easy to follow.
