Dr told me it should be fine. But please double check with your Dr first. I notice an improvement immediately. I would put this on every night and as days turn into weeks my feet felt much better. I still have some bad days from time to time. Like yesterday late afternoon. My feet felt light they were being bitten by fire ants. I could not sleep. I put this cream on my feet. Waited 30 minutes before putting my socks back on. It felt so much better. One thing to keep in mind is to always put a thin layer of this cream on the desired area(s). In the begging I thought if I put a thicker layer it would be more effective. I was wrong. What it did instead is make me feel nauseous. This stuff is strong so don't put on a thick coat of it. But make sure you get this brand. They were out of the product for a bit and I ordered a different brand and it was not even close to being the same.
