Review: Cute, comfy, just what I wanted - I wanted a pair of suede-ish (soft) ballet flats. I ordered these in a 5.5 (I'm normally a little girl's size 4, or a women's 5) as this was the smallest offered. I'm happy I did because of the pointy toe - they fit my feet perfect! A few things though ---- the shoes are wide, in my opinion; I have WIDE "Flintstone feet", too. You can see in the one picture where I'm up on tip-toe sort of and you can see inside the shoe. Not a huge deal, just an FYI. The toe box is great!!! Usually I avoid pointy-toed shoes because not only of the Flintstone Feet thing but, I had bone spurs cut off the right foot and my right big toe bones are bigger than the left... so I have to have big toe boxes in all shoes or there's pain. These have ZERO pain. I didn't even have to "break them in". I wear them either with tights or just plain bare feet; they do NOT slip off, either, like some other slip-ons do when you wear tights with the shoe. They stay put. Very cute and can be dressed up or down. May buy another pair in a different color! Review: The Great Hunt of 2018 for the ever elusive 'Black Pointy Ballet Flat'. - As I'm starting a new job on Monday, I wanted to spruce up my wardrobe a bit. I searched high and low, granted there's a pretty small distance between those two as I live in a fairly small town, but nevertheless I was determined to find a pair in store. Belk, Kohls, TJMaxx, Rue 21, Wally World, Old Navy and then finally Payless. Payless was my last hope. I walked in, the women were rude, finally after browsing one came up, gave me the "special's spiel" and went on her merry way. I found a pair that I actually liked for $24 and found a pair of random shoes that were a $1 with "the sale". I also picked up a pair of buy one get one free no-show socks. I thought about it for a minute, and decided to search desertcart real quick....found this pair within a minute. So I decide to put my shoes back and order these; I did keep the socks though. I get up to the counter, and the stereotypical 'I'm angry that my parents are making me get a stupid job, so I'm going to be a giant a-hole to everyone' college girl say's "you put your shoes back...?" as if questioning my sanity as to why I would ever reject her special over priced black pointy flats and mulberry mini heels (the $1 shoe I picked). "Yea, I didn't particularly care for the $1 shoes, and one pair at $24 seemed a little high, so I hopped on desertcart real quick and found a pair....but I would like these socks, please." *Blank/annoyed stare as she rings up the socks.* "That'll be $6.87" "Ummm....they're supposed to be buy one get one free, and one pair is $3.99, so I'm not understanding the math there..." "They're buy one get one HALF OFF" "Oh, well that's not what the other lady said. *attempting to diffuse the situation* you know what, I'm sure I just misheard, my bad. *I know dang good and well I heard correctly. I'm 25 and I'm starting to get wrinkles....but my hearing is still fully intact*. "You know, $6.87 is a bit to rich for my blood for just two pairs. I'll have to pass on these as well, sorry to waste your time." "Yea." To wrap this story up, I'd like to note that two of the most adorable little old ladies were in the store and I'd overheard 'angry college girl' being super rude to them. You can be rude to me, but if you're rude to a white, permed, and short haired little 85 year old that's wearing a sweater which says 'I love my grandkids', you probably won't be forgiven at the pearly gates for that one...just sayin'. Now, onto THESE bad boys. The suede actually looks nice and well done. The fit is great, I ordered an 8.5 (my normal size) and their true to size. I will say, they're pretty narrow. I have narrow feet so they fit me nice and snug, but if you had wider feet, or bunions, you'd probably want to look elsewhere, or order a wide if they have them. Comfy to walk in, I don't expect blister, albeit I'm going to be sitting in a cubicle, not a lot of physical activity involved there. My only complaint (which is why I gave 4 stars), is that on the inside of the shoe, they didn't set the top layer down correctly, so there's a bump. That probably makes no sense, but I took a picture to show you. Overall great shoes and I'm overjoyed by the price. I will never shoe shop among actual humans again...only desertcart robot shopping from now on.

Love them!
Love them!!! I just got them today so I haven't had a chance to wear them yet but so far they are perfect! I ordered a 6.5 in Taupe and they fit perfectly. Most of my shoes are a 6.5 but I've found that a lot of shoes on Amazon I end up returning for a 6 because they run big and thankfully that isn't the case with these, they just fit so nicely. Even the width is good which can be a problem with pointy flats because they tend to be so narrow. They do have some padding (see picture) that seems like it will help them stay comfy for an 8 hour workday. I will update once I have the chance to wear them for a whole day. Also, the color is so pretty! These probably won't last forever like a super expensive pair of flats but they are still well made, especially for the price and I will definitely be buying more of the other colors. Highly recommend!!

Good
I paid under $17 for the taupe suede flats. They shipped immediately. They are pretty narrow at the toe and quite wide/collapsed through the middle. I find them uncomfortable, but I really only bought them as a cheap half-measure until I can afford a pair of Rothy's. I haven't worn them yet. They fit ok. Tight at the toe, but they didn't fall off my heel when I walked. True to size. The mid-step is a bit wide and the walls of the shoe around the arch and outstep appear collapsed/flat, as if someone with a wide foot was wearing them, or they used a wide shoe last when forming them. I hope they soften up around the toe. I don't think they will be suitable for much walking or standing, but I would wear them in a pinch when I need some simple nude flats. They could use an insole, but I am not sure that would leave much room for my toes.

As comfortable as ballet flats can get
Ballet flats in general just do not provide the support that our feet need, that being said, this pair is as comfortable as ballet flats can get. I love the pointed toe style and the faux suede finish. I normally wear size 6 in flats, got these in size 6 and they fit perfectly. These need some breaking in, I wore them the first 2 times at work (office/desk job) with band aids at the back (?) and at the little toe mounds. At the end of the 9 hour work day, it didn't feel like my feet were killing me and there were no cuts. The quality is decent, I am not sure how long these will last, but for the price I am happy with the purchase and will buy these in more colors. UPDATE: I purchased another pair in black and they were a half size small and had to return them. The first pair I purchased was taupe and that one fit as expected.

7 Years of Good Use - Rest in Peace Shoe!
Well after 7 years my shoes finally gave out today at work. I noticed my soles were leaving a trail of small particles in the hallways of my office. By lunch time the bottoms fell apart and my toes were exposed. Then the next step half of my foot was hanging out. I didnt have an extra pair of shoes at my office, so I gave up and went home. Lol I find this hysterical and embarrassing at the same time. Not mad, but for $30 plus, I got 7 yrs of good use. Rest in piece blue shoe!

Pleasantly Surprised - buying every color
Absolutely love these flats. I was pleasantly surprised at how well made they were and how much cushion there is on the ball of the foot and heel. I was expecting paper thin sole that would fall apart in a few days based on the price but to my surprise, they were much better quality. I will be buying more, but I will buy my true size. Based on the reviews, I sized up from a 7.5 to an 8 and they are just a tad loose. I believe they will loosen up more as I wear them making them too big all around. Color of the shoes is also true to the picture and description. Overall, super happy I bought these shoes!

Soft Material = Quick Creasing :-(
Just got these a few days ago, wore them for the first tine today. I was pretty impressed with these when I put them on. Color's a true taupe the fit is SO comfortable. Ive got long fingers and toes and these covered my toes completely. The cushioned areas are well placed, walking is very comfortable without additional support though eventually I'd probably put in an insole anyway because.....flats. Size is a true fit, my foot is very comfortable including the toe box. Nothing feels cramped or too loose. The dealbreaker is I think the material which is a double edged sword. On one hand its great that its soft, because there's no breaking in period for wearing the shoes. Unfortunately that softness also enables creasing very easily. Ive walked maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile in these today and and have a very noticable crease about a quarter inch down from the point of the toe box. I read in some other reviews about this but i thought it would take more time for the crease to happen and I could deal with that. This is bothering me alot more than I thought it would as it does ruin the visual appeal of the shoe. I was going to get the blacks of these too and interchange them daily for work ....but I may have to go with something thats made of firmer material and just try to break them in. I'm really not sure. Im not really docking a star for this but should mention that the right shoe also had some slight discoloration on the left side of the toe box. Edit: I've worn these shoes about 3 more times since initially posting this review, walknog the same total distance with long breaks in between. The crease doesn't seem to be getting any worse, so I'm guessing if you walk for only 15 or 20 mins at a time with long breaks in between the crease has time to kind of recover. I'll be getting the blacks ones.

Nice and comfortable
The shoes arrived on time but the black is not a real black, it's more like a mauve dark. I like and I will wear them.
