This is my second Biomat. I bought this one for the red light and Jade. The Jade and tourmaline are the same size as the red lights, and all of these are surrounded by amethyst chips. The fabric covering them is durable and relatively soft like a mesh. The control works well and the cords are long enough to reach outlets. The cover is durable and soft, although it can slide a bit. Lightweight enough to move around. Folds and stores under the bed, without a sharp bend in the mat.Many Uses:Soft enough to sleep onLay it flat or use wedges or pillows to raise one side upStand it on its side to form a half circle "crystal cave"

I bought this for my husband who got hit by a car and almost died. After being in the hospital for 2 1/2 months he came home and I had him sleeping on the mat. He would of tried anything for 5he pain and to recover fast. He’s pain was a lot less when he slept with the light on and in 2 weeks he was walking. Much faster than doctors expected all of his injuries where also healing at a faster pace. I believe the mat had a big part in his recovery. It’s not that comfortable but that’s ok.

I don't imagine my life without it anymore - it helps me to restore blood circulation and easier pain, I sleep on it every night, on low setting 30-45 and also use it on higher setting during the day or at the beginning if I have a lot of pain, poor blood circulation and stiffness.
