Smart Pond 1300 GPH Pump with UV Technology

I've had this for about 4 years and it had worked well for me. I have a relatively small pond with rock fountain. It has run not stop, year round for years.Those complaining that the uv does not keep their pond clear need to read up on the subject. The ponds need time to build up natural bacteria that will assist in keeping them clear. If you change your water all the time then you lose that natural balance.

I love it when I ordered, it looked the same as the one I've had for four years. but it was better I was afraid that I'd have to redo my piping but the attachments that came with it, fit the old piping, so no additional cost there, and then, wow it came with it's own bag which catches all the pine tree small branches and needles that fall in my pond. and all was super great with it id buy again in a sec if I needed a second one. Great buy and super pump.

This was a replacement for an existing pond pump. They are good pumps with a decent lifespan. However, I tried to get repair parts for the original pump and it took a long time to get parts and the manufacturer kept sending the wrong ones. They finally sent me a new pump instead.

This is the second one of the series that I have owned and cannot say enough good things about them. This one came better equipped than the first one some five years ago. It included an extra set of UV bulbs which I really appreciate and the output fitting has been beefed up. Also, they included a filter bag to surround the whole unit to keep particulars of the pump assembly but should even improve his life more. I will definitely purchase another one on this one goes. By the way it is in continuous operation from April through November every year .

Absolutely solid pump. Cleans easily. Very quiet and efficient.

Great pump! After installing I rigged up a temporary water fall out of a 5 Gallon Bucket so that I could move a large amount of water in a short period of time. The UV light really is doing a great job at controlling my Algae.

Not too much to say--it works well and is dependable. Also comes with a pretty long cord which is a help.
