Who knew peeing while standing could be this liberating!
I ordered this just a few days before leaving for a 4-day hike in Europe; it arrived the day before my departure. I practiced with it half a dozen times using the toilet (as opposed to in the shower, which works but doesn't simulate real conditions). I am so glad I bought this and couldn't imagine how my trip would have gone without it. The great thing about the pStyle is you don't have to pull your pants down; you can just slightly lower them (at least, that worked for me). It was super easy to learn how to use. That said, if you haven't practiced, you will not likely feel comfortable giving it a try for the first time while on a hike. There were women on my hike who had bought a similar device but were afraid to use it because they hadn't practiced. So why bother buying and bringing it then? From the very first try, it worked for me -- no mess, no leakage. I used it daily during my hike. In remote areas where you don't have much privacy, being able to use this without needing to pull your pants or leggings down is a huge help. I didn't care if someone might have seen me from a distance because I wasn't squatting with my pants down -- nothing was exposed. To carry/store it, I used a zippered fabric pouch I already owned, and kept the pStyle wrapped inside a clean bandana, along with a little pkg of tissue and some hand sanitizer. Because I didn't have water to rinse it with (since the only water I had was in my hydration bladder), I shook it dry and rewrapped it in the bandana. At the end of each day I washed both the device and my bandana with soap and water, then air dried. Last thing: because women aren't used to peeing standing up, we aren't used to knowing where to aim. Steer clear of large leaves that can splash back.

Must-have gear for female hikers!
I've tried several products to ease the whole "peeing in the woods" ordeal, and this is by far my favorite. No mess, no fuss, easy to use, and no squatting with my bum exposed- you don't have to drop your pants around your ankles to use! Small and lightweight- I carry it in the side pocket of my pack for easy access. I do wish it came with a carry bag of some kind- ended up devising my own -but otherwise I am 100% happy and recommend to every woman who has been surprised by another hiker, fallen on their butt, peed on their boots, or otherwise had a less than stellar trailside bathroom experience! This product delivers!

Awesome little tool!! Pee standing, sitting, whatever without worry or removing any clothes!!
Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean & does NOT leak!!! It's funny when you think about it, writing a review for a product that helps us women, Pee standing up!! ๐คฃ๐ But what a lifesaver this item is!!!!! I quite frequently, like always, am out with my fiance and his Buddy's in remote area's or just places where restrooms are few and far between and quite frequently found myself looking for a spot to pee that had at least some degree of privacy. Most of the time it was no easy feat. So I went on the hunt for something that could help solve my issue, and found this little gem!! Total lifesaver!! Then a week or 2 after I got it, my fiance and I were in a bad Motorcycle accident where I was thrown from the bike and sustained injuries. For weeks I couldn't really walk and had to just sit around, also making finding a bathroom impossible. But thanks to this product, I didn't have to worry. It really made it possible for me to still go on adventures, while injured. I even used it multiple times while sitting in my car, peeing out the door. Lol yes! I had to pee out my car door as there was no other privacy in sight. This item also makes it so you can be fully clothed while using it, bringing much relief to the fact that nobody would get a full moon view of my backside!! Or any creepy crawlies trying to hitch a ride on my nether regions....๐๐คฃ I ๐ฏ recommend this product!! I tried others and they were flimsy and untrustworthy to not peeing on myself....

Best female urination device
I bought this specifically for a hiking trip to Washington. It has been the best addition to my gear bag. As a woman hiking for long miles through Mt Rainier and Olympic National park the last thing you want is to dehydrate yourself just to avoid needing to pee as often. It works great, keeps your hands clean, no toilet paper needed, its very discrete as well. Definitely get this one if you're considering a urination device.

What an ingenious device
Funny how a guy friend of mine did a lot of research on travel pee devices and this one had excellent reviews and bought me one. It took a few trial runs but after you figure out the perfect position for it is a life saver!! I work in construction and have to run so many places to find a bathroom and this little handy device has saved me from having to go to some seedy places to find a place that will allow you to even use their bathroom. Just find some bushes, place the device down there and then let it loose!! LoL I absolutely love it I bought another one in a different color! You wonโt be disappointed and the price is sooo worth it for peace of mind.

Success on my first try!
I got this because I love to hike, but as a female, it's a bit more challenging for me to pee in the wilderness than it is for my male companion. We're about to head out on our 3rd annual hiking trip to the Rockies where we'll be spending almost every day hiking in the mountains, where restrooms are few and far between (and quite unsavory, if you know what I mean). I have no problem popping a squat, but when you're above the tree line, it's hard to find enough privacy to do so. I first tried the You Go Girl pee device, and I was able to use it at home for practice, but there were some shortcomings that other reviewers have covered quite well. For me, the funnel part was kind of weird (what if I pee too fast?) and the length wasn't very long. I never actually used it while hiking. I also ordered the Travel John disposable urinal device, which will work if needed, but then I'm left carrying a bag of gelled up urine until I get to a trash can. I also don't like that if I'm trying to be discreet and tuck it in my pant leg while I go, that I feel the bag fill up with my warm urine. It feels like I'm peeing on myself. It did work great, but for hiking, I prefer the pStyle. I've read quite a bit about different options for lady pee devices and ended up going with the pStyle. The instructions stated that most users had success on their first try, so I just went for it and succeeded! It's a little odd at first and my biggest challenge was getting myself to actually pee while standing up and nearly fully clothed. But lifted the toilet seat, unzipped my pants, got the device where I thought it belonged so the end was sticking out of the front of my pants, aimed it at the bowl and finally got myself to go and succeeded! What a great feeling to know that I can now relieve myself on long hikes without having to find a secluded place and squat my bare rear over sketchy ground with who knows what kind of critters beneath me, risking peeing on my clothing. I was able to freely stand up with just my zipper down and go. It's very empowering and I now feel like I don't have to limit my fluid intake, potentially risking my health (I have a colon disease, diverticulitis, so it's imperative I stay hydrated). After I went, I was able to clean up any drips by pulling the device up and shake it off. I can then wash it off in the sink, or it says it's dishwasher safe if I want to get really crazy. I also got the carry pouch for it, so it's already attached to my bag and ready to go. I just can't express how pleased I am with this and how excited I am that it will be easy for me to discreetly pee while on long hiking trips. No more using nasty public bathrooms with long lines or holding it until I feel like I'm going to explode. It's truly empowering to do something as simple as pee at my convenience and I'm excited to have a tool to make it so simple.

Where have you been all my life?!
Wish I had bought this years ago. I hike and camp and now keep this pee thing in a small ziplock in a handy pocket of my pack. No need to remove my pack. No squatting with my bare bottom as an offering to insects. No peeing on my shoe. The device is large enough to comfortably fit all my girly bits with no leakage. I give it a little shake at the end of urination and wipe myself with my pee cloth. Device is quickly rinsed with water and stowed away. Love it.

Simple but Effective
The PStyle is basic and it works. I appreciate the smaller size because it fits into my backpack side pouch better, it weighs less, and the hard plastic cleans well/easily. Another brand I tried had a longer funnel you had to fold back to insert in its carrying case, which was extra work/extra touching the piece, and the funnel was made of a rubber material to allow it to fold, but that made it heavier and I donโt feel rubber cleaned as well as the hard plastic. The compact size is meant to travel yet it is adequate for the purpose. You just need to place it accurately. I recommend you practice using it at home so you donโt have to fiddle around on the trail or road side figuring out optimal placement on your body. It is not rocket science, you simply need to be familiar with your body and where to place the funnel so the liquid lands where it is supposed to. A couple of practice times and youโll have it. Also, I would keep my shoes clear from splashes by standing with a wide stance like a guy (same thing we do if we squat). Lastly, do a practice run while wearing the clothes you plan to wear when using it on the trail or traveling. I found some of my pant zippers are not low enough to allow me to keep the back of my pants in place covering my rear while pushing the front of my pants down low enough to insert the PStyle and hold it level. Elastic waistband pants are also challenging because the waistband typically wonโt stretch out enough to allow you to drop the front low enough to insert the PStyle without the back of your pants pulling down to expose half your rear (nullifying the whole point to standing). The PStyle is not the problem, it is the fit of womenโs clothing. Bottom line, you need to try it out with your clothing and figure out placement before you use it in public. I did not practice in advance when walking the Camino and belatedly discovered the mentioned challenges. Fortunately, I had access to bathrooms and I could skip using the funnel. I will need to use it on my upcoming Inca Trail hike, however, so I am heeding my own advice and my practice thus far has been great, it is easy to use!

Easy to use
Easy to use and wash off. I keep mine in a cloth case in my car, in case I find myself in a remote area.

Game changer for backpacking
Didn't have to take my backpack off to pee, nor find a place to hide. Made my hike so much more comfortable. I did practice first in the shower, but I didn't find it difficult to use.

Amazing - wish I got one sooner
After buying a dirtbike, I was wondering how I would manage in the bush with no facilities, and thought a stand-to-pee device is just the thing I'm looking for. After looking at all the products and going back and forth on which one I should buy, I settled on the pStyle and I'm so glad I did. I tried it in the shower right after it arrived and had success on the first try. Since then I have been using it every time I have to go. I love that I don't have to take my clothes off, I don't get myself all wet like when I sit on the toilet, and that I don't have to use toilet paper after the fact. I've never had it slip and tilting the end down puts enough pressure against the skin that it forms a seal and nothing leaks out. Great design and so easy to use with clothes on. I will carry it with me everywhere!
