Works well, easy to install.
These ladder steps bite into the tree and screw in with ease without having to fight them to get them started. They are strong and handle my 200lb weight easily. I am happy with this purchase and they arrived on time.

One is not enough
The build quality is beyond what I expected. Is very sturdy. Love the fact that it does self drill into the sides of the trees as any good hunter would know if they have bought tree stands either you have to secure them via strap or big bolts love the fact that you’re able to just drill these into the side of the tree And they stay was able to leave up in the mountains on the side of a tree to test out theory of it being seen easily by others which found out that it is not as I was able to leave it up in the mountains over a weekend and they were untouched. I would say the only downfall is that the tree stand that you do put up in a tree would either need to be off to the side of the steps as the steps have you pretty close to the trunk? With this being said, I would also say that you would need to buy two of these in order to have enough to get pretty high up in the tree.

These work great - easier if you pre-drill pilot hole
Used these last weekend and they were able to support my weight (200 lbs) easily. Cleared out a big nasty cedar with the help of these.

Screws in easy.
Well it's a step. Soooo. But the good thing about these in particular is that they are easy to start and screw in good. Get em. I use them to keep on me for emergency steps to screw in should I need to do so when getting out of a jam should I fall from my climber stand and be left hanging in my harness too low to climb up easily

Minimally invasive lift system for tree climbing
You can use these to get up to your lock-on tree stand with little to no worries that they will kill the tree or harm it in any way. In fact, if you forget and leave them in for a year or two, the tree will grab ahold and you won't be able to get them out. As a matter of fact, in 8-10yrs the tree will grow right around them and be a big surprise to somebody with a chainsaw one day.
