What a great quilt! Perfect for sleeping under and not being too warm. I am down South, this is perfect through the year with layering. Also makes a good impression glancing it, as the master bedroom is next to our main front door entrance. Not too masculine or feminine. Glad I purchased. Also, does 'not' have a weird smell! And also from my platform king-size bed, it is not draping onto the floor which is great for my dustmite allergies. May have to buy one for my mother. Love it! Nicest quilt I have bought in years, and the best deal too. Would HIGHLY recommend for 100% cotton. Also dried pretty fast in the dryer for a cotton king-size quilt. Lovely!

I really love this set! The price is great and the set is better than anything I've found at Homegoods - I was having a hard time finding 100% cotton quilts including shams in a good price range. I washed everything before putting it on my bed, as I always do with bedding, to get rid of the wrinkles and stiffness. After washing, the fabric is soft and good quality, the seaming is sturdy. The quilt is lightweight, perfect for summer. I have a Cal. King bed with a deep mattress and memory foam topper, total about 16" deep. The quilt is long enough on the sides and foot to over-hang my bedskirt by an inch or 2 and does not hit the floor. The shams are nice and soft and big enough for a large, firm King size pillow. I would definitely recommend this set and buy it again if I needed to.

I was excited to find a good quilt that was 100% cotton, felt like old quilts do, and not polyester or microfiber. I first noticed was that it was soft, but had some loose threads stitching not complete. I washed it like the instructions said and now it is pilling. First day, first wash... and no longer super soft. Much rougher with the pilled fabric. **UPDATE after 3 years. I've slept with this quilt every night for the last 3 years and it has surprisingly held up! I didn't have much hope with the pilling and the stitching not being great. The pilling eventually stopped being an issue after a year and it is feeling softer with time. Overall, not a bad quilt!

I have come to depend on verified purchase reviews when making purchases. So. Here is my review for this quilt. I originally bought a gray one for a guest bed and could not believe how nice it was for the price. It was so wonderful I decided to buy a king size one for my bed. I am very very picky when it comes to my bedding. This quilt is absolutely perfect. It's large enough to cover my thick mattress. Many of the ones I looked at were noted to be too small. It IS light weight; something I was looking for since I like layers to add or subtract as the night goes on. It's attractive enough to use on top if you choose. One reviewed said it was not soft. Not sure how they could say that. It's as soft as 100% cotton can be with one washing. It had no noticeable smell and was heavenly coming out of the dryer. All of this comes with a price that is hard to believe; compared to similar items.

The fabric is very soft and the stitching looks nice. The fabric is holding up much better than expected considering my mastiff and pit bull both sleep with me. I thought it would have holes before long but I'm pleasantly surprised. Lightweight and perfect for spring and summer and good for layering when it is colder. Washes and dries well and I wash mine at least once a week. One note is it had a weird smell, like plastic-y or something when I first received it. I washed it which helped but it was still there even after a second wash. I laid it out and it aired out and smell was gone so if you get it and it smells bad, try washing and airing.

I really liked the quality and light weight of the item. I purchased the item as a summer quilt for a guest bed. There was no chemical odor on the fabric when I opened the package (so no airing out required), and the quality of the cotton is excellent. The matching pillow sham is a great “plus” to the purchase, as shams do not often come with a full-sized quilt. The depth of color (navy) is deep and very rich. I would definitely purchase this item for other beds if I have a future need for a summer-weight quilt.

We loved everything about this quilt when we got it. Perfect weight to keep us warm but not sweaty because my fiancé is a hot sleeper. I love the color of a true white and the stitching pattern. Just what I was expecting. After a few weeks of using it, my fiancé felt something poking him. We found some sort of hay or small sticks in between the layers of the quilt!?!? It is the strangest thing. I ended up poking it through the quilt just to figure out what it was. I can feel more sticks through the quilt that I didn’t remove, spanning about 10 inches. Very disappointing considering this quilt was $80. I tried to contact the company but they don’t have any contact info available. We’d love a stick free quilt. We are hoping the company will make this right! I will update if I get a response.

Great size, we have a very thick mattress and it still hangs over the edges all the way. Nice and light, thin, and very soft cotton. Haven't washed yet but happy with the fabric and size.
