Tea is a little sour, so you have to get use to it.

Bitter melon is excellent for diabetes. May reduce blood sugar levels. The veg orgord itself is an acquired taste and requires too much prep to cook. Tea is much better tasting with same results for me.

Heavenly tea. Well not exactly tea, it’s an herbal tea with no caffeine and nothing from the tea tree in it I believe. It’s got a heavenly earthy flavor that is surprisingly not very bitter. For example, it’s not as bitter as the half dozen green tea sources my wife buys. In fact, there is little or no bitterness at all. Like tea and most herbal teas, there is no sugar, no carbohydrates, no fat, and no protein. Somehow, the stamped on label for the American market lists a single serving (use of one tea bag) as 35 calories — I am sure that is not right. Update after nearing end of first box: I enjoy the richness, mellowness and unusual flavor so much, I've taken to using this in conjunction with other teas when I make a pot or large cup. Esp. when using a green or white tea which are a little on the bitter side. E.g. this is an ideal match for use with green tea matcha. And I'll easily use it in a pitcher of water in the refrigerator (with or without another tea bag) for flavored water. AJ
