Great hidden lighting solution and excellent customer service
Our galley kitchen needed better counter lighting than the ceiling cans gave. I had used EShine strips for under shelf lighting in a home office and figured out how to use them to light the kitchen counters and give soft ceiling lightingabove the cabinets. Each side of the kitchen uses one 12 x 12" set and one 3 x 20" set in warm white. One secret I found when testing with surplus lights from my desk installation - use one strip along the wall edge of the cabinet and one along the underside of the front edge. It reduces shadows and makes for more inviting light. All but one of the 12" strips are in the crown molding atop the cabinet. The switched 12" light is under the cabinet closest to the kitchen entry. I hid the power supply in the cabinet above the microwave. With an extension connector, I connected the switched light to the strips near the ceiling. For the remaining under cabinet lighting, I put two 20" strips one side of the range (1 each under front and back edge) and the switched 20" strip under the cabinet at the back edge on the other side of the range where it was paired with the switched 12 inch strip. It took another extension cable routed up between the microwave and cabinet, through the cabinet over the microwave, and down the other side to connect switched and unswitched strips. The 20" strip power supply is also hidden above the microwave. Very pleased with the results, which are bright, but with less contrast than in the photos, and can be dimmed as needed. The cord in the last photo is not as tidy as it should be. When that photo was taken I was still working with customer service to resolve a power supply problem. It tucks away to be essentially invisible in use. Not pictured is the setup on the sink side of the kitchen. It echoes the range side, except that there is no outlet in a cabinet to hide the power supplies. Fortunately, there is a duplex outlet in the corner of that side that is too isolated to be used for much else. The 20" wall wart plugs in there, as does the cord for the 12" power supply. That cord is routed to the "brick" which is installed in the underside recess of the cabinet just a few feet away. Minimal visible cords. As noted above I did have a problem with one 12" set. It took two rounds with customer service to isolate the power supply as the root cause, but EShine folks were incredibly prompt responding to my messages and were courteous and very helpful in resolving the problem. Replacement parts came very quickly. My better half and I are very pleased with the results and with 6 total kits successfully installed will consider EShine for other home lighting projects.

You need to feed the light that has the motion control 1st and then the rest of the lights.
The color is great. The brightness is great and the motion controls work great.I had to cut up three cords and splice them together to make one cord long enough to reach over the stove but I have enough in the kit to make it all work. I would 100% recommend these.

These can be used with just a motion sensor instead which is just what I wanted
I wanted to get some really cool looking lights for my walk in closet, I like all the latest strip lighting but don't but I'm not too crazy about the look that the light gives off with strip lighting as its not really a smooth light. I search and searched on Amazon until I came across these lights and although they are intended for hand activated motion and dimming, I just wanted lights to be activated by motion instead. There was absolutely no mention of using a motion sensor on the description, however when I searched through the answers and questions section someone had asked if this was possible. There were 3 answers to this question two of which said they thought it was unlikely but the other one answered it with so much confidence by saying that you can operate the lights by a wireless witch if you installed the power adapter to the other end of the one light that is used to power the rest of the lights.I decided to take a chance and ordered lots of these lights as well as a regular motion sensor adapter from a different company that is used for strip lighting. Anyway I can confirm that my lights in my walk in closet all turn on the moment I enter it and look so good. One thing I'd like to mention though is that by doing it this way you can only turn on or off the lights (either by motion sensor or switch) they cannot be dimmed. The only way these can be dimmed is if you coonect them as per instructions and use your hand to activate them and hold your hand under the one light that has the sensor to either dim or brighten, you'll never be able to use a remote dimmer that you purchased from somewhere else - I know this because just out of curiosity I thought I'd try it.Anyway I am absolutely over the moon with these lights and I never use my actual closet lights that I was using before now so I'm sure I'm also saving a small bit of money every year too

Great solution for DYI under and over cabinet lighting
These have worked out perfect. I had to buy a few accessories like a y cable to go two different directions. I still have to buy a few more to finish the cabinets on the top. One thing I which I had realized before installing them is that there is a side with more light and less and a side with less. I put in one with the less towards the kitchen and more towards the wall and I wish I had done it for all of them so seeing the lights is less obvious, but it is still rather easy to hide the lights unless a person is sitting at the kitchen island and can see them. I also bought a bunch of 20" cords so that I didn't have to hide all the extra length from the ones that come with the lights. I did not receive anything in return for this honest and fair review, other than to help others who are trying to determine what is best for them.

Impressive
I like to write reviews on products that I buy from Amazon and typically wait for them to request a review but this time I couldn’t wait. This product is incredible! I looked at a lot of under cabinet lighting options but nothing fit my application better than this one.Installation of the twelve lights took me an afternoon because I had to 1) go over a microwave and sink using the optional 10’ cords I purchased with the light kit and 2) I had to cut a few sections under the cabinets and drill some holes.I debated whether to use the supplied screws or the 3M two sided tape and went with the tape because the screws were too small for me to work with. The tape is incredible.Using the on and off swipe function and dimming function can’t be any easier.

bright and easy to install, occasionally turns off
Looks great under the counter. Worked fine for a few weeks, now intermittently turns off after about an hour on. I cleaned the sensor, but it’s still happening now and again. Nothing major, but somewhat annoying as it’s about a month old...

The motion sensor panel must be installed at the ends to control the entire set
I'm very happy with the luminosity and will likely buy another set for the garage. I would like to see more configurable wiring options and 24 panel kits.
