GrannyBellas Mothers Day Cookie Gift Basket

Beautiful presentation and box...but these were probably the WORST cookies I've ever gotten! We ordered them for a Christmas party and upon opening- threw them in the trash. They were dry, flavorless and half of them were broken. Just not worth it to me!Update: Granny Bella immeidately emailed me upon leaving my initial review. They refunded my money AND sent me a replacement box in 2 days! The cookies arrived fresh, delicious and undamaged. They were wonderful this time! The honey cookies are great and taste like a Graham cracker and the lemon poppy seed ones are my favorite! I will definitely order from them in the future! Their customer service is A+++!

I have never seen anything so awful in my whole life. The entire box of Cookies was practically in crumbs. Even though I was mortified I still ventured to taste one cookie. It was terrible. I don’t have a lot of money so I can’t just go out and buy something else.I would like to add a note to this review about the Amazing customer service by Granny Bella. They were so kind and so concerned that this happened that they refunded my money and then sent me a new box of cookies that were fresh and delicious. This company is all about customer service and making it right. Thank you so much Granny Bella for making this right. I wish I had a picture of the fresh box of cookies to show you but they were consumed too quickly.

The product looked great from the outside with a pretty bow, but the excitement ended as soon as I opened the box. Most of the cookies were broken! They looked old and tasted old, very dry with no flavor whatsoever. The different varieties were stuck together with other types of cookies, but in the same compartment as if they were literally thrown together. They are awful, just a huge disappointment. I ordered these to cheer up my husband who just had heart surgery, as a sweet treat for us, as we are having to stay home, but I will now throw them out to the goats. The off-brand grocery store cookies make these look like gourmet!!! I usually never complain and am not hard to please, but this was a real disappointment and I will never order treat boxes of food online again. It only got the one star because it would not let me leave it blank.

Updated review; we originally ordered the large $40 box, but the corner stacks of cookies were just broken into crumbs, all of the cookies were dry and hard, and the ones with the jelly centers were so hard we were afraid of breaking our teeth. The fault lies with Amazon, I believe since they were so dry. Packaging was top of the line. We let the vendor know, and they completely vindicated themselves. We received a new box today, and everything was perfect. Cookies are moist, delicious, and will not make it to this weekend. GREAT COOKIES AND A VENDOR THAT TRULY CARES. Thank you so much.

UPDATE: After learning of my experience with their product, Granny Bella’s issued me an immediate and completely full refund and even offered to send a replacement box of cookies. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt to her and say I just got a bad batch which is not the norm. Granny Bella’s has shown that they are committed to my complete satisfaction with my purchase experience and that is just as important as the product itself.———————————————————————-At first glance it feels as though you’ve purchased a really nice gift. Once you cut the ribbon and open the box, all bets are off. Most of the cookies were broken, but when my husband and I tried bites of various cookies, we understood the crumbles we’d received: they were very dry and tasteless. All of the cookies, though different flavors, taste exactly the same. I usually bake my own cookies but just felt like buying something else this weekend. The cookies arrived in one day (Yay Amazon) but somehow something got lost in translation. I would not recommend these to anyone else to purchase.

I've purchased this item multiple times and a most (not all) have made it in one piece. I recently sent it to my family for Father's Day and a third of the cookies arrived as crumbs. My mom and dad like them but it's embarrassing when they arrive destroyed. I wrote to Granny Bella and they came through not only with a refund but sent a fresh box to my folks. That box arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I can't say enough about their commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction. They made things right and I thank them for that. And they make great cookies :p

Original 2-star review: On a positive note, this product arrived very quickly, nicely packaged, etc. I ordered 2 boxes for a big event. I noticed throughout the event very little was being eaten and I definitely didn't need the second box. By the end of the night my daughter let me know, in her teenage vernacular, "Mom, no one was eating those cookies because they were hard as a rock." While I wouldn't go to that extreme, the next day, I tried a bite from a few different varieties and I can attest there was no differentiating flavor, the cookies were dry, and I felt embarrassed for having served them.Updated to 3-stars: The seller reached out in apology for my original order not working out for the event and in cordial kindness, sent a complementary gift box. I can see they are trying to please and satisfy the customer.

Received the cookies promptly and in good shape, not a single cookie was broken. Packaged attractively and the cookies were excellent. This makes a great gift for those special people in your life or for someone you'd like to impress. My only problem, it's hard to stop eating them!
