No More Mistakes
I use these with the Rocketbook Everlast. Like all the different color choices for my writing and drawing. Also, like to use these when I write in books so that I can erase if desired.Pros:They work with RocketbooksThey erase with friction (or with soft damp cloth on Everlast)The ink disappears in heat/ reappears if you stick in freezer. Yippee so fun!Cons:The ink disappears in heat/ reappears if you stick in freezer. Boo! What a pain.Ink smears if you smudge before dryingLine density not always uniform. Like some gel pens.I will buy them again or get the ink refills when mine run out

Great & useful!
These pens are great. I use them for school to write notes and they glide easily along the page. I think the price is good too, 10 pens for $10 is about the same as the store, maybe even better. The fact that these pens are nice and pigmented BUT also erase have saved me from plenty mistakes I’ve made! I find myself using these more than my regular pens.Pros:-easy to write fast-erasable!-thin tip so it’s easy to make fine details-really inky-they don’t bleed through the pageCons:-some of the colors aren’t as strong as others-some colors don’t erase as well as othersYou can see which pens are better than others in my photo. My favorites are the orange, pink, and blue. They’re the most pigmented.

Great pens and here's the greatest way to erase their ink
The media could not be loaded. They come with "erasers" so you can make the ink disappear. There's even some special notebooks here you can wipe away the ink with a little water.HOWEVER, I've discovered that a small heat gun, I use the something called the 6.56FT Long Heat Gun erases FriXion ink in seconds with no muss, fuss, or damp pages. This one costs about $10, is compact, works well for this and other heatgun-related tasks, and has a pretty funny sticker that I highlight in my video review of it.For me it's opened all kinds of doors for ways to use pens that lay down colorful ink that can be made to disappear almost immediately (while other writing made with non-FriXion ink remains).

Awesome Erasable Pens
These are a huge improvement to the erasable pens of my elementary school days. Leave it to the Japanese to create quality and ingenious products. The “eraser” is made of silicone and so will never shrink. The rubbing of the silicone on the ink cause friction that will erase/remove the ink. Hence the play on the word friction in the name with “FriXion”. Word to the wise, the ink must be completely drive before erasing. I tried erasing immediately after writing and god a smeared mess.Definitely makes writing “permanently” easier. Just don’t sign documents with these. Hah.

Favorite pens
I love these pens! They write smoothly in bright colors and erases completely. I use these for grading and it’s perfect. I can easily erase any mistakes that I make. However, there are a few cons. For me, it’s worth the 5 stars even with these cons but it might not be for everyone. First, don’t use it for anything you need to keep permanently. The ink fades or disappears with heat. If you’re going to laminate anything, don’t use these pens. Also, don’t leave anything you wrote with these pens in a hot car. The writing will disappear. Someone said that you can put the written stuff in the freezer and the writing will appear again, but I’ve never tried it. Also, the ink doesn’t last as long as traditional pens. It’ll last for about a school year, but not much more than that. With that said, it’s still worth buying. I have several teacher friends who also love these pens. My kids use these pens all the time, too. It’s good for any middle school or high school kid who has to write in pen, but still wants the ability to erase!

Not for the Texas heat
These pens write great and being erasable is why I used them. However, the ink disappears if your paper gets too hot. As in, I live in Texas and my notes disappear in the summer. I can't keep putting my notes in the freezer so the words reappear. That's what Pilot told me to do when I asked what was going on. These pens will not be an option for me for my book writing and assignments. I am not rewriting my notes using a better pen. So, if what you write isn't important or you will keep your writings indoors, these are great for you. If you like to write while outside, in the heat, or your writings ever need to be in a hot car, then pick another pen or have a freezer handy. I would like a refund.

Like holding a pencil...
After buying a Rocket book, I bought a bunch of different FriXion pens and ended up liking these the most. To me, the clickable pens are uncomfortable to hold because they are thick and annoying to use because the clicker is often making noise as you move the pen. The color sticks are much slimmer and easier to hold and there is no distracting noise to deal with. When holding them, it feels like you're holding a pencil.I've also found they write so well and the ink stays put. If you're wanting to do elaborate things with your Rocket book that involve using different colors, I'd suggest using these color sticks and not getting the marker pens. While the marker pens are thicker and have more color options, they don't stay on reusable pages very well.Truly, these color sticks are your best option.

writes smooth and erases completely
I like the mixed colors and that the gel pen is roller ball and writes smoothly, It doesn't smudge and when you need to, it erases 100% completely. It doesn't actually 'erase', it uses fiction to heat up the paper and that makes it disappear. Frixion doesn't include it on its packaging, but you need to know: if you live in a really cold place, freezing weather may reveal all the gel-ink you erased. Walking between classes could scramble your notes!!! I don't think just warm weather will erase your notes, but excessive heat (magnifying glass, through a very hot window) will make this gel-ink fade.None of that is a problem for me. I hate mistakes on my page and completely making them disappear is just what I like! These are a little pricey (as far as I am concerned), so maybe getting the click pen version that is refillable is a better idea, but I cannot afford that right now. Overall I recommend them for clear precise writing (they are 0.7 fine tip), color indexing, and zero scribbled or scrubbed out mistakes.

Better for a Rocketbook than Paper
EDIT: I also have come to realize that the package was supposed to come with a maroon/burgundy colour. I did not receive this colour, but received two navy pens instead.I bought these for two purposes: writing in my teacher planner and writing in my Rocketbook (which requires Pilot Frixion pens). The exterior amazon packaging was intact with the rest of my order, but the package of pens itself was opened from the back. The pen easily accessible from the unwelcome opening at the top right corner (green) is not a vibrant green, and seems half dried out. To be fair for the purposes of this review, I turned all pens tip-side down for half a day to encourage the ink to flow. However, the green still seems half dried out, and the red and orange pens lacked vibrancy as well. The others seem okay until you write more than a few words. On paper, ALL colours lose vibrancy after writing the first few words of a sentence, so I don’t know how you could write a paragraph or more without needing to switch pens. It really feels like the pens are fighting you on paper... the experience is not smooth. I’m not sure if that comes across in the attached picture, but if your primary use is for on paper, I wouldn’t recommend these pens for sustained writing like taking notes or creative writing, etc. Using the eraser worked fine, unless you repeatedly write and erase on the same spot, at which point the paper gets wavy in that spot. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the pens work in my Rocketbook. The ink flowed MUCH more smoothly, but the colours are still not very vibrant. The purple and royal blue were probably the best, and the green remains the worst. You cannot use the pen’s eraser in a Rocketbook, but the ink is easily wiped away when using a damp microfibre cloth as directed. I think I will try out some of the other Pilot Frixion products to see if I have a better experience. The freebie pen that came with my Rocketbook is called the same thing (Pilot Frixion Ball 07) but must be an older model of the pen... it is far superior in my experience. In conclusion, I had a much better experience using these pens for the Rocketbook, but I’m far from impressed overall. The build of the pens leaves something to be desired... it’s literally just a plastic shell. If comfort or the “feel” of a pen is important to you, then definitely go elsewhere. There is also no clip if you like to hang them on the cover of a notebook/planner. If you’re still leaning towards getting these for paper, I would recommend trying these out in a craft/art store that lets you test out pens first!

Good but not as good as the mainline Frixion pens
I love the Frixion line of pens from Pilot, which I use daily to mark existing and draw new construction drawings. But these Frixion Stick seemed to have about half the ink of the normal Frixion line pens i purchase. Most not making it to the end of the business day before being out of ink.Back to the regular line pens for me.
