One of the batteries refused to charge
I bought this because I'd previously bought AA USB batteries and extremely impressed with them. So decided to buy the smaller size. Unfortunately, one of the batteries is refusing to charge and continues to show the red light instead of the charged green light.

not rrecomended
First of all I bought it because I thought its lithium ion, but instead its nimh. Those are poorly made, only one out of 4 works.. I think they were discharged all the way so they basically damaged. I took one apart to take a look on the charging circuit, and that the fault there, the charging circuit is draining the battery when they stored and usused ( beafor and during shipping) so they arrived dead. One was lucky that had enough charge to survive journey from factory to here. Also keep in mind charging circuit is big it takes space so the battery capacity is reduced. There is a flaw in the design - the spring contact relies on the plasic tape tension to keep the battey positive terminal connected. Thats a big nono, you sohuld have soldered this ultrasonicly , and there should be latching mechanism on the charger to discengage when the charging cable is unplugged. I only both those for parts as I needed small cells , but unfortunetly those are damaged by the manufacturer - because they are all flat compltetely dead. Only one works and its barely. I gto panasonic pro instead. . Just so everyone knows nimh and li ion are very similar in terms of capacity and I tihnk nimh are safer to use - but cannot use such big currents as li ion. Overall very bad quality product that does not work I checked 3 batteries are 0V completely DEAD and only one was 0.8V and gets charged to 1.4V then looses the charge by itself in few minutes ..so its capacity is gone. Do not buy, buy real quality ones and buy separate charger!

Well established brands or otherwise, always worth testing stated capacity incase
Like most people purchased for convenience of charging not for battery capacity. Yes these don't last as long as other 'normal' rechargeable AAA'sThese are only advertised as 450mAh where as ones like Energizer can be 2000+mAh. Only tested two of the four so far. 1st was 450mAh, 2nd only managed 388mAh. Still it'll do for what I purchased for (powered mixer/protein shaker) & ease of charging. Wouldn't use for anything like auto cycle lights as would want higher mAh.

These batteries are a waste of time, the charge does not last long and the green charge does not come on when complete which makes the batteries hot

Very functional!
Bought these to replace the footprint in my bag of my USB powered battery charger and batteries. These work very well., as expected. I cant give them 5 stars as the capacity is limited and the charging slow, but I do understand you can only fit so much into a tiny space. If they charged quicker I could give these 5 stars.

Not perfect and not for Bluetooth devices.
They seem to do fine in remote control’s but if you happen to be buying these to go in a Apple Mac keyboard or mouse, I wouldn’t bother, the required power for the ongoing Bluetooth connection will hammer these. On a full charge these lasted just over a week and now no longer charge properly. The coloured indicators are consistently blue regardless of the state of charge or charging. They’ll be red to begin with but then in a couple of minutes they turn blue but a quick check within MacOS will tell you that they’re charged to less than 50%. For this price I expected a lot more.

Really not worth it
I bought these to use with my Oculus touch controllers. As they only take a single AA battery per controller, I thought this would be an ideal way to power them. However, I have found the following:- The battery life itself is pretty poor compared with normal, bog-standard alkaline batteries- There is awful balance between the batteries - when used in pairs, one will go flat long before the other. All four seem to have noticably different capacity- One of the batteries is actually very slightly shorter than the others, so it frequently loses connection when you swing the controller fast enough (makes Beat Saber a total nightmare to play)These might have been decent, but it seems the quality control is terrible. Maybe if you're lucky you'll get a good set of four. I'll be staying well away from these in future. Would refund if I could
