Metabo HPT Pin Nailer Kit, 23 Gauge Fine Trim Aluminium Magazine, NP50A

Seems safe. I have only used it to drive a couple dozen brads so far, but works well and so far no jams.

Impressed with the build of this one, metabo has several lines. This one is well built, works very well!!

This pin nailer got some weight to it. Well built gun that should last a long time. I like the trigger safety on better then the safety on the nose of the gun. Really like having this nailer.

Pretty solid pin nailer. It is important to note that not all brands of 2in pins can be used with this Metabo. I have found that Bostisch WONT work but Grex WILL. Other than not being able to buy 2in pins from the big box stores, I have found that the no mar tip falls off with some regularity

This pin nailer seems to work great. Went with this one due to price and general consensus towards metabo nailers. I read a few reviews stating that it has a difficult trigger pull. This is due to the selector switch being a lockout and not a push fire switch like my bigger nailers. I found the nailer to still work while locked, but only with a very forced pull with the safety trigger also depressed. When unlocked, the nailer fires ok. It also seems to work ok with 3/8” pins.

It's really nice having a micro pin nailer that can go up to two inch pins. I use this all the time, unless it's a small job, then I use a cordless.

This pin nailer replaced a old one that had over 15 years of use. Hopefully this one will last as long. The reason I picked this one was the ability to use 1/2 inch (12mm) pin nails. A lot of units can't do that small.

I think that this pin nailer is an excellent value. I have a Senco (read much more expensive) pin nailer as well. This unit is half the cost and performs as well... That is all you need to know.

4th Metabo HPT Power Tool. 1st was a Framing Nailer and this tool was amazing, especially for the price. 2nd was this Pin Nailer quality/ price outstanding. Cordless Brushless Driver Drill & Impact Driver combo kit, again great quality/price. Most recent purchase was a Cordless Reciprocating Saw, another great power tool for an exceptional price. Was not sure of the background of Metabo HPT, from what I could find Metabo is a German company recently acquired by Hitachi Power Tools (HPT). So far best bang for my buck power tool company.

Metabo makes great pneumatic tools. This one is no exception. Used it for trim installation and the holes are hardly noticeable.
