I use these amazing bags for steeping or cold brewing. They hold up to ten Tbs of ground coffee and leave no grounds behind. just float them on the water in a pitcher or 4 cup pyrex (or smaller for concentrate), cover with saran wrap, and leave in the ice box for 18-24 hours. Kind of pricey, about 30 cents each. What grade is this cheesecloth?

This is extremely fine cheesecloth - but not a "tight weave". So it feels more like a nice heavy gauze than a cloth. I use it to line my tofu mold when making block tofu since it helps drain away water but will retain the curds - and the thinness allow me room to work when it has to be placed between things (like wooden boxes and their tops.
