Baby Touch: Shapes: An early-learning touch-and-feel book for babies and toddlers

Ladybird do a good job with this series ... Bright, engaging, my eight month old twin grandsons love the colours and, am sure will learn more , as they get older

Baby and i love the Baby Touch books! We have five of them so far and she adores touching and scratching on the textures. Not sure about some of the shapes though!!!!!!!

i bought 4 from this series there are more...baby loves them they are beautiful and greatly interactive. very colourful and soft and clear.

A great first book for baby! This first shaped book is simple enough for even very young babies to enjoy, with the vibrant colours and thick cardboard pages for little fingers and get to grips with. It’s a good size for slinging in a changing bag too for reading while out and about! A great introductory book for babies of all ages.

I've got two of these. I'm fully self aware that my seven month old cannot read, and isn't reading, and the book format is as much about keeping my sanity as educating them - but this is attractively done and every other page does have a texture to explore with fingers which can keep a level of entertainment for the little one.

Let me tell you first of all that I did not purchase this item but it was sent to me by Amazon for an unbiased review.Only 5 pages, thick cardboard so quite childproof when they are touchy feely with the pages! A Ladybird book so good quality, bright colours, large pictures, interactive pages and an excellent idea. My god son’s little girl will be one in November and she loved it and will for some time to come. Looks like there are another three in the series and I shall probably get them as this was such a hit. At first I was disappointed that there was only 5 pages but I understand now, watching her, that anymore and it would be too heavy!

Bright colourful pages with interactive touch panels on every other page.The touch panels are as follows:1. Bumpy circle, 2. Squishy square, 3. Scratchy triangle, 4.Rough rectangle, 5. sparkly star.However I can't help but feel disappointed with this book. My son used it for a few minutes then was bored again. The touch panels are small compared to the page size as they only occupy one third of the page height. Bigger touch panels would have been better. Also why ever other page? I would have preferred touch panels on every page which would have created more enjoyment for my son.

These books are great for introducing babies to books. They love the bright illustrations and textures. I discovered baby touch when my first was given one as a Christmas gift and now they are the go to. Highly recommend.
