Good strong coffee. It doubles as a water pitcher that keeps water cold and doesn't sweat!
Really like this glass double wall french press. Sturdy and stylish. I had another brand before this one, but the spout wasn't good and coffee spilled easily, unless you held the pitcher high above the cup to pour. I bought this one because the spout was better formed. Pours easily without spills. A classic french press; makes the strong coffee I love. I make a full pot once every few days; drink a cup then keep the extra chilled to drink the rest of the week. The rest of the time I use it as an excellent water pitcher. The double wall glass means it insulates beautifully, doesn't sweat and keeps ice water cold for hours.

So much better than a keurig
This is what coffee is supposed to taste like. You will need to buy ground coffee if you don't want to grind the beans yourself. I order Peet's coffee on Amazon it is delicious. Additionally, this french press is so easy for me to use because I have a water tank in my home and I get 5 gallon jugs delivered monthly and the tank has a hot and cold spout. I put about 1/2 cup of grounds in the carafe (I like dark coffee) fill it w/ hot water, stir, wait 5 minutes, press and get 3 large mugs of coffee that are delicious and have no grounds in them because the filter in the press is very good quality. This is one of the best purchases I made recently, the coffee is smooth and delicious and not at all acidic it barely needs any cream. AND the best bonus is no more hot plastic water being used and put in my coffee like it is with a keurig cup of coffee. The plastic particles will build up in your system over time if you are a regular keurig user so be careful. But, I highly recommend this especially if you don't need to boil water or have a way of getting hot water fast because then it is faster then waiting for a keurig to heat up.

Beautiful and functional.
This is the nicest and best quality French Press I've ever owned. A bit bigger because of the double-walled feature but it is this design feature which makes it such a beautiful piece to look at. The only reason I give a 4 rather than 5 star rating is because it could keep the coffee warm a bit longer. Description it would do so for several hours. Though I do find it stays hot longer than with other presses, it is lukewarm in less than an hour and cold soon after. Still, I suspect any press that isn't metal would be no better and I highly recommend this. I find it a bit less fragile than others, too, which is important when cleaning.

I like high borosilicate glass very much.
I bought two water cups made of borosilicate glass before, and I was very satisfied with it. So now I buy a water bottle made of borosilicate glass again. The product description says,It has the characteristics of high strength, hardness and light transmittance. After three weeks of testing, he was really able to adapt to the sudden change in temperature. It can be used on very hot boiled water or it can be kept in the refrigerator for several hours. Well, I put a lot of ice in the boiling water, and it didn't burst. For someone like me who loves glassware, high borosilicate glass is a really good choice, and it is also very bright and beautiful. Hopefully that after using this water kettle and water cups for a while, it won't burst.

Worked great
Liked it a lot, however it failed the grandmother/grandson test--being knocked off counter caused it to shatter even though they both know there is no throwing things or playing catch as there are many "rare" breakables in my house. Talking to either one has proved to be fruitless as I asked them to stop 3 times.

Nice looking but challenged design
Great look, makes great coffee. Top cover doesn't fit snug and unless you hold down the cover when you pour it back splashes down the side making a mess. Also the end filter assembly is held together by a screw type nut that is difficult to remove and easily fits down the drain. Versus the whole end piece being one piece like most presses. So not easy to clean.

False Advertising
The company claims this is vacuum insulated. This is not the case. The reason why I say that, is because I did a quick test on it. I put boiling water in it, covered the top with a combo of parchment paper and aluminum foil, and noted how long it took before I felt any heat from the outside sides at different areas. It was literally within a minute when I felt warmth at different parts from the bottom to the top. Compare this to a true vacuum insulated stainless steel tumbler or thermos; despite metal being more conductive than glass, you don't feel the warmth coming through on the sides or bottom, because it has a true, high vacuum. There are barely any air molecules in there to conduct energy through. Vacuum is the most efficient form of conduction and convection oriented insulation by far. I got it specifically because it claims to be borasillicate glass and claims to be vacuum insulated. IF it is vacuum insulated, it's a very light vacuum and still has plenty of air molecules in there. So be forewarned, while it's definitely double wall, it's likely not vacuum insulated, or if it is, it's a very poor vacuum that allows plenty of conduction. This also makes it dangerous because air pressure could rise in there enough to explode the glass apart. If it was a true vacuum, there wouldn't be enough air molecules in there to expand as they are heated to create pressures high enough to break the glass.

Our second one. Keeps the coffee warm up to the last drop. Excellent value. Why 4, We broke the first one when it dropped to a Woden floor. Glass is fragile! Not tempered!
