The Superb Wrench (filter housing metal wrench) is made to replace the plastic wrench that breaks when removing the filter housing unit. The Superb Wrench is made out of 7 gauge steel that will not break, bend or strip the housing unit when stuck. Our wrench is made longer than a standard filter wrench with a rubberized handle for extra leverage. On the handle there is a directional arrow and the word "loosen" to prevent turning of the wrong direction and breaking of the filter housing unit. Our patent makes the Superb Wrench virtually indestructible while making filter change easy.

Makes changing the filter a breeze. Bought a house that had a filter installed, but the plastic wrench they left behind was cracked. Well when I tried to get the filter off the plastic wrench shattered. Tried everything I could to get the filter off. Started researching to replace to plastic filter but with a new one but then found out for a couple bucks more could get this metal one. Getting the filter off was a breeze.

Fits Older Kenmore
Fits the ~15 year old Kenmore 625.384450 whole house filters that were here when we bought 2 months ago. Would have have to replace the filters completely with a working wrench. Instead I got a wrench, some 25 micro cartridges and we're good to go, well water tastes great.
