Winner of the prestigious Western Heritage Award, FLOATING HORSES tells the story of Casey Tibbs, a nine-time world champion cowboy from Mission Ridge, South Dakota, who left home at the age of 13 in 1942 due to his father’s disdain of rodeo. Over a decade of dominance followed as he brought national attention to rodeo as the original American sport. Akin to riding a wild bronc in competition, Casey’s unpredictable life had its grand victories and cheerless crashes. Get ready to “Let’er Buck!”

One of my childhood heroes
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I got to watch Casey ride at the Denver Nation Western Stock Show. The only person that held a bigger image for me was Jim Shoulders. While my city cousins were talking Mickey Mantle or Roger Maris I was talking Casey and Jim. The Movie was kind of sad but so was Casey's life. I would like to thank the people who made this movie for providing America with the story of one of America's best who did it all on his own.

Casey Tibbs, Nine Time World Rodeo Champion
Saw this movie in Pierre, South Dakota. Enjoyed it immensely because I had graduated from 8th grade with Casey Tibbs. I read the biography about Casey and he took off after that graduation and started breaking horses. The beginning of his career! Justin Koehler is responsible for this movie being produced and distributed. Thank you, Justin!

Enjoyable even if you don’t know rodeo
Enjoyed watching this movie with my grandfather who is a cousin to Tibbs. He seemed to enjoy reminiscing of the old days and the rodeo. I know nothing about the rodeo and found this to be a great historical movie about Mr. Tibbs and his life.

Casey Tibbs
Casey Tibbs was our home town hero & rodeo champ, so I just had to have a momento when it was released. Item arrived before scheduled delivery and was a hit with the family. True story based on his lifetime of rodeo.
