How do you store this product, do they need to be refrigerated? Thank you.
I know they are fermented but roughly what's the shelf life? meaning will they be ok bought now for christmas
You say in one answer to put them in the fridge, then in the next answer not to put them in the fridge. Which is it?
Are these already cooked?

Exactly what I expected.
Having lived in China, I knew what I was ordering and what to expect. I wasn't disappointed. These ARE NOT salted duck eggs, as others were expecting. These are 1000 year old eggs. Salted eggs duck eggs are something else completely different. The picture displayed should have been a dead give away as to what to expect. Personally, I'm one happy and satisfied customer.

Go on ! You know you want to
Well, having heard so much about these I had to try them right ? Very special ‘flavour’ and the feeling when you bite into the green yolk ! Special !!

Expensive mistake
I've had salted duck eggs before, home made, but these tasted horrible - after one bite, which I spat out, I threw them all away. And you can get cheaper salted duck eggs from other sources.(By the way these aren't the black preserved eggs, if anyone wants those, they're the white ones. And each egg is individually sealed in plastic - I guess they think it keeps better that way but I'd prefer less plastic packaging myself.)

Conveniently on Subscribe and Save
Decent, consistent product. A bit more expensive than at a specialist Asian supermarket. But if you don't live near one of those, it's very convenient when purchased as part of regular Subscribe and Save.
