About 1mm too long, a little too wide, and 11V out of the packet.
I haven't been able to use this for the purpose I bought it for.It's about 1mm longer than a normal 9V PP3, e.g. a Duracell, and also slightly wider.At this price, I wasn't going to start buying one each time I needed a 9V battery. I bought it for a specific purpose, and it fails at that because it won't fit in the battery compartment - a Duracell fits nicely, so I've settled for that.Also worth noting is that these are 11.0V, almost exactly, new out of the packet. A Duracell "Plus Power" 9V PP3 that I bought from a local shop, measures 9.67V from new. It's quite possible that the extra volt and a third could damage something. I was nervous of fitting it in my bass ukulele (which was not cheap), in case it damaged the preamp, which expects 9V nominal. As it turned out, I didn't have the choice - it won't fit.I'm prepared to change the number of stars once I find a use for it which I feel justifies the expense. Personally, I tend to skip the five star reviews, and don't pay much attention to the four star ones, so maybe this will at least get noticed.Naturally, you have to rip the packet open to find these things out for yourself, so there's not really much hope of returning it.On the plus side, the 11V reading on my meter makes me fairly confident that it is a real lithium battery, not a fake.

ER9 9V Lithium - Lasted 3 years & 9 months in a standard smoke alarm
Contrary to some other reviews these batteries were easy to install and were of the same size as another brand which they replaced. So no problems there.They were installed in a standard smoke alarm which was not activated/sounded during the period of use, apart from for periodic testing around twice per year. So the batteries were only lightly used and last under 4 years.The lifespan dated in the description is overly optimistic.
