This is a really nice product for the price.. Good size , looks good , and sturdy.. I bought one because , after Irma , and losing power almost 2 weeks ; Ill be more prepared with one of these , and a coleman stove, for the next emergency. Makes good coffee too.

The media could not be loaded.  I like this French press. It is a nice design and looks good enough to use when you have company over. The glass pot comes off the metal holder for easy cleaning. The plunger works great, you can feel the resistance when you press it down because the filter is contacting all the way around and stopping the coffee or tea grounds from getting through.You end up with a nice clear cup of beverage with no bits in the bottom of your cup.This is definitely worth buying if you like your coffee and tea fresh and not instant.

REVISED: Bebeke did eventually get back to me and replaced the entire French press. Thank you for honoring the warranty!The bottom of the carafe cracked after about a year’s worth of use. Contacted Amazon/manufacturer for a replacement (still under warranty) and never got a response. Before this issue, woulda been 4-5 stars.

Great quality..easy to use.. We use this on our boat where we have a propane burner to boil water but don’t have power to run a coffee maker. Its only glass but seems to keep coffee hot longer than expected. We use less coffee (which can be pretty expensive) because it sleeps longer than an electric coffee maker..we don’t like weak coffee! I also like the ritual of the press..feels a little European:)

We love the new coffee press. The coffee is incredible the difference is amazing in that and regular drip coffee. The reason I gave it four stars for easy to clean is because unlike regular coffee, when coffee is pressed it retains the oils so that you can’t just rinse the pot it has to be manually cleaned. The only thing that left me a bit disappointed is that there are no instructions for changing out the filter. It comes with two extra filters which is awesome but no direction on how it should be changed. The directions for use of the pot are on the side of the box. I’m sure it’s not rocket science and I can figure it out, but still would be nice to be helped along a bit.

I've owned a lot of French Presses over the years. Sooner or later they get broken and I buy a new one (hey, they're made out of glass; one slip when you're washing the carafe and it's hasta luego, baby). I expect this one will get broken eventually. :-) When it does I'll buy another from this seller as this is one of the nicest looking French Presses I've had and the price is really good.

I use the press for loose tea. Works great. The only surprise I got was the beaker sliding out of the metal portion while rinsing out the press. This is the first press I've used so it may be a common feature - but it did surprise me. Luckily the glass did not break in the sink. I really do love it.

This product would have been perfect had it been assembled correctly. The pump is assembled backward. The filter is the only part that should unscrew. However, in the press I received, the pump topper unscrews and the filter does not. This is a problem because the filter needs to be loosened and rinsed after use. Being unable to wash and or replace the filter renders this product useless after a couple of uses. The filter must be rinsed/washed well and allowed to air dry to prevent rust and mold. I've tried to unscrew the filter, but getting a firm grip on the bar, as you can imagine, is nearly impossible. Returning the product isn't worth the cost of doing so. I'll have to make another purchase from another supplier. Buyer beware.
