Excellent Posture Corrector
I purchased the posture corrector from Gearari, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who spends long hours at a desk, I was beginning to notice the toll it was taking on my posture. However, since using this product, I've experienced a significant improvement. The design is comfortable and discreet, allowing me to wear it under my clothes without any discomfort or bulkiness. The adjustable straps make it easy to find the perfect fit, and the lightweight material ensures that I can wear it for extended periods without feeling restricted. But most importantly, the effectiveness of this posture corrector is truly remarkable. Within just a few days of consistent use, I noticed a difference in my posture. It gently reminds me to maintain proper alignment throughout the day, leading to less strain on my back and shoulders. Overall, I highly recommend the Gearari posture corrector to anyone looking to improve their posture and alleviate discomfort associated with poor alignment. It's a small investment with significant benefits for your health and well-being.

The best of 7 posture correctors that I've tried
My poor posture got to the point where people thought I was 15 years older than I actually am, and my primary care doctor recommended I try a posture corrector. Because many of these correctors are poorly designed, I ended up ordering 7 different ones, and have returned all but two of them. Here's what I've learned about posture correctors. There are two basic types: 1) those that are like backpack straps that go around your arms and behind your back, and 2) those that are like backpack straps and also wrap around your torso. Each have their advantages and disadvantages, summarized below. In order to pull your shoulders back, both types of correctors have to dig into your armpits -- there appears to be no way of avoiding this -- but the ones with wider, softer straps to distribute the load across your pits are much more comfortable than those with narrower straps made out of firmer materials. Correctors that have special 'armpit pads' that you can adjust to the maximum pressure point are useless: the pads move around as soon as you move your arms and quickly end up not in the place where you need them. For both types of correctors, I found that it's much more comfortable to wear them over an undershirt (with a regular shirt on top) than to put them directly against my skin. Of the two basic types of correctors, I found that type 2 correctors never worked for me: by the time I got the strap around my torso tight enough that my shoulders were pulled back, I could hardly breathe. This design does have the advantages that the corrector stays in place, no matter how you move your arms, and that they're easy to put on and take off by yourself. For me, the fact that tight torso squeezing still gave inadequate shoulder correction meant that I returned every one of this type. For type 1 correctors, the class that this product falls into, it's quite easy to get good shoulder correction. The drawback to this design is that as you move your arms around, the corrector slips out of place, providing less correction, and then has to be readjusted. Almost every type 1 corrector I tried had the loops that the straps pull through at the shoulders, so that to tighten the straps, you have to pull the velcro to the center of your back, which is nearly impossible to do by yourself. The thing I liked about this particular corrector is that the loops are at the center of the back, so to adjust it you pull the straps up in front of you and close the velcro on the front of your shoulders, making it easy to put on and take off. The straps on this one are also nice, wide and soft, so it's as comfortable as the best of the others I tried. The only other one of the 7 that I bought and didn't return is the Evoke Pro A300. The Evoke stays in place much better than this one with arm movement and can provide a bit more correction, but the Evoke is impossible to put on by myself (I need my spouse to help me), and its thinner, harder straps dig into my armpits more than the current item, so I can wear it for less amount of time. As compromises go, this product is the best of those I've tried. I also like the fact that this product comes with velcro 'extender' straps; I didn't need these, but for larger folks, I'm sure with the extenders that you'd have no problems getting a good fit.

Helps Posture!
I have worn this product several times now. Overall, I like it and will likely continue to use it as it does help me to work on my posture. I have had back problems for years now and when was given the product to review, I was excited. In my experience, when you first get this product you have to ease into wearing it if your posture really does need correcting. The first few times I could really only wear it for 15-30 minutes because my back got sore from my muscles being in a new position. However, by the third time I worn it I was able to wear it for an entire morning. The great thing about it is even when you take it off, you start to grow accustomed to your back being in a better position so you continue to try to adopt the new position. My biggest suggestion is to make sure that you get the product put on correctly. The first time I put it on I did not have it adjusted correctly. After wearing it for a while, I realized that I need to pull the back part down lower so that it rested below my scapulars. Once I had it adjusted correctly, it was much more comfortable. Anyway, here's my breakdown of pros and cons: Pro: Adjustable Comfortable to wear Helps to correct posture Con: Needs periodic adjustment Straps can dig into arms

Quality, right-priced, effective pain relief
I have battled neck and shoulder pain for years. Primarily using weekly physical therapy and chiropractor visits. Additionally I preformed exercises and stretches that took anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour on a daily basis. Recently after having shoulder surgery both my shoulders ached throughout the day and I could not reach above should height without great pain. I found that if I forced my shoulder backs by squeezing my shoulder blades together my mobility greatly increased and the pain greatly decreased. Unfortunately my muscles would tire or my concentration would drift to other matters and the pain would return. The I tried the Gearari Posture Corrector and within one day the pain decreased and the mobility increased because I had a constant reminder to maintain the correct posture. I was able to wear the Corrector approx three hours the first day before the straps became uncomfortable. The next day was just under four hours in the morning and then another three hour in the evening before the straps bothered me. After three days I've already noticed my posture without the Corrector on has improved. The straps have become more comfortable because my posture is improving lessening the pressure of the straps. My own muscles are developing the memory and strength to keep my shoulders back. I believe I will continue to use the corrector for several hours on a daily basis as a tool that keeps the correct posture as a habit that stays ingrained throughout every day.

Painful in the ways it shouldnโt be. Will return.
There was a lot of issues with this product. Sizing- This product expresses how itโs one size fits all because of the adjustable strap. It is not for all sizes because Iโm a US medium and it was too big on me. When I secured the straps to the Velcro, the overall harness was loose. I even tried different methods of attaching the straps... it just made it uncomfortable. Trying to stick to its directions, I had to get somebody else to attach the strap to the farthest it can on the back of where some Velcro was. Even then, the results were really lacking. It doesnโt really act as a harness or brace because you can easily fall into poor posture while wearing it. Painful/uncomfortable- I tried wearing this according to the instructions as well as a variety of methods and all of them were painful (not painful in the โoh it is helping my back so itโs just sore!โ kind of way either.) You canโt wear it discreetly under clothes. I tried wearing it over a tank top and under a sweater, and it felt like somebody was rubbing sandpaper under my arms because of the material. I took the sweater off to see what was going on and learned that what felt like a bunch of shaving accidents looked like a lot of irritation (red rash under my armpits, by my armpits, on my shoulders). The material is not comfortable. Does it work? Even at its tightest, the build and material of it does not provide any actual support to the back to help you keep a correct posture. The only reason why it kind of works is because it serves as a reminder that I had something very uncomfortable on and that I should physically be trying to straighten my back to lessen the pain (and even then came under arm irritation to a rather intolerable degree). My advice? Donโt get it. Instead opt for a brace/posture corrector with a more comfortable, supportive material that you can be happy with through the difficult adjustment of fixing posture.

Best posture corrector ever!
I have had multiple back issues in the last few years and have tried many posture correctors. This product does exactly what it says it will do, but it will only work if you understand how to use it correctly! I see reviews complaining of pain and discomfort, but that is a direct result of not understanding what this product is designed to do. It is NOT a brace and is NOT designed to force you into good posture and hold you there. If it was, it would be useless. Fixing bad posture is about correcting muscle imbalances and training the body to hold itself in a different position on its own... forcibly bracing the body into position does nothing at all, and can even exasperate the problem. When properly adjusted, this product will be comfortable to wear to the point of you not even knowing it's there... as long as you maintain good posture. If you start to slouch or roll your shoulders forwards it becomes uncomfortable, which is your physical cue to check your posture and sit back up straight. Over time this will increase the strength of your back and shoulder muscles, correcting the imbalance. At the same time, maintaining good posture will become second nature without you even needing to think about, and without the need for physical cues. That's the point at which this product has done its job and you can stop using it. So this product is a trainer, not a brace. Use it as such and the results will come, you just need to have patience and understand that it won't happen overnight. For me personally, it took about 2 weeks using it for ~3-4 hours every day. Overall, I strongly recommend it.

Does it Job
I have been having some back pain for while now. This works for me. Its not to hard to put on, it even comes with instructions on how to put it on. I have bought a few in the past (different kinds) and this one seems to fit better and be a little more comfortable. You have read some reviews about how uncomfortable they are and yes they are not like sleeping on clouds. This is made for you to wear to relieve some back pain and to help your posture. There is going to some discomfort around your "underarm" area but for me its not to much of a bother vs the pain I have from my back by not using this. I am a 40 year old man that is 5 ft 10 in. 260 lbs. I wear this under my shirt so it would not make my dress shirts all messes up. If you do it is a good idea to work an undershirt. If you are looking for something that is going to feel like heaven than you might was well stop looking for something like this. If you are looking for something that is going to help with your posture and/or relieve some back pain you should try this. Just remember that its not going to be very comfortable but it is also not going to be something you can not stand if you put it on right.

A confidence-booster!
My husband has been using the product for nearly two months now, and I have noticed a significant change in his posture. He likes to put it on a tad tight, and wears it for two hours in the morning and another two in the afternoon. While it is on, the pull on his shoulders serves as a constant reminder to avoid slouching. And when it is off, he sits and stands straighter. He looks and feels more confident. The quality of the product is solid, and will likely last a lifetime! Highly recommended!
