Good cloth diaper, good price, gets a little damp on the outside.
With my newborn son, my wife and I were looking to save some money in the long run by using cloth diapers. I went down a few searches here on Amazon and bought a variety of diapers from different brands and with different methods of securing. Our son was born at 5lb 5oz, so he is a little guy and I needed a diaper that would both fit him now as well as in several months to make the investment worth it. These diapers say they fit from 5 to 14 lbs. Although I cannot attest for 14 pounds yet, I would say that they definitely are able to fit on a 5lb newborn. The reason I gave a 4 star rating is because they got damp on the outside after my son used them. Following guidelines online, I have been changing his diaper every 2 hours or so, but even so this diaper has been slightly damp on the outside after use. Even so, these diapers fit better than some other brands and I am able to tuck all of the cloth within the cover. The hook and loop helps with adjusting them to securely fit over your little one. I will update this review as my son grows a little and will update if I figure out why they are getting damp (leaky cover, coming out at the legs, sweat, etc.).

Leaks constantly
I really, really wanted these diapers to work because they are so darn cute... however they leak constantly. My newborn was 7 lbs 7 oz at birth and is now around 10 lbs at 6 weeks old. I've repeatedly tried these diapers at various weighs over the past 6 weeks and each time they leak. I have other cloth diapers as well, an AngelicWare and Nooya set and both perform much better than these. I originally purchased these because I wanted a newborn cloth diaper that was a little more trim and not as bulky as the one size (8-35 lbs) alternative. So I spent around $250 building a supply of these cute little diapers only to be sorely disappointed that they don't fit my newborn well and I end up with a wet baby every few hours. The leg holes have a visible gap where urine or stool easily leak out. The way the snaps are positioned makes it impossible to tighten the fabric enough around the legs to prevent these leaks. The manufacturer recommends changing every 2 hours. As a neonatal nurse practitioner who is very experienced with babies I can confidently say that unnecessarily waking a baby every 2 hours is developmentally harmful. Babies need uninterrupted sleep to promote brain development. There are many quality alternatives out there that wick moisture away from your babies bum and are safe for leaving on your baby until he or she naturally wakes for the next feeding. I gave this product 2 stars because the fabrics are adorable, but they don't function at all the way a cloth diaper should. I will be returning for a refund.

Favorite newborn diaper
My only complaint is that I didn’t discover these sooner! I tried a couple different brands with my first baby and this this time bought a couple more brands to test out. We have the bumgenius, grovia, and little joeys in newborn sizes. These ones and grovia newborns are my favorite. These absorb way more than any of the others and they have a really great fit. Disappointed i spent so much on the bumgenius newborns.

Love these
I haven’t used them yet because my little one is still baking but I love the material and workmanship of the diapers. Can’t wait to see my baby in it.

You would think that wouldn't happen with that nice thick attached insert
These fit my 3-month-old 10 pound baby very well, but she soaks through them every...single...time. You would think that wouldn't happen with that nice thick attached insert. It's almost like they don't have the PUL lining! Very disappointed, especially since these could have fit her up until she fit into the one size. :(

No complaints on new addition to Thirsties line
Love Thirsties, love all-in-ones and loved the fit of the newborn size version of this new line of diapers. This makes a great addition to my diaper stash for that in-between period when you have a newborn that's a bit too scrawny for the traditional OS and the velcro closure makes diapering a squirmy (potentially tantrum-throwing) newborn just a bit quicker and easier. Great addition to the Thirsties line, IMO.

More leaks than other diapers we have.
This wasn’t our favorite diaper. We have a lot of leaks with it and the Velcro has seemed to wear down a lot, go with snaps! I have to say I do dry them in the dryer on tumble dry so that may hurt the Velcro. In the end everyone will have a good diaper for them based on the baby.

Best aio I have
Best aio! I have multiple brands and styles of cloth diapers but this is by far my favorite. I find the velcro to be so convenient for night changes instead of snaps. Haven't have any leaks so far

Stretchy and easy to put on but absorbency wasn't working for us
For my heavy wetter, this diaper didn't last very long. Stretchy and easy to put on but absorbency wasn't working for us.
