Exactly what I was looking for
This light works great! It is bright enough that one light lights up our coop that is about 16x16x10. Had an issue with the module that came and the company fixed it right away they were great!

I love this light!
I love this light. It is small, it stays out of the way and it provides a huge amount of light for our coop. I have used the big metal clip on type lights for years and from time to time the chickens fly into it and knock it down, the cord has to hang across the coop to plug it in. This little light takes up no space, no chance the chickens are going to mess with it. I did have a little trouble programming it, the instructions were confusing so I found a video on YouTube and had it programmed in a minute (it was actually easy once I understood) you can easily do multiple times and days and all that stuff, but for me I just want it to come on at night for a few hours. Works like a charm. Being LED I am sure it consumes way less energy than the larger LED bulbs I was using (the ones that got broke by renegade chickens)β¦ Highly recommend this light. Glad I bought it. Oh and bear in mind, I usually only do reviews on stuff I donβt like, I rarely remember to take the time to post the positive ones.

Stopped working in less than 4 months
In less than 4 months the timer unit stopped working. I can turn the light on manually with the unit but the display no longer works and does not start at the specified time. I am also unable to adjust the timer.

Works great but...
Works great and very easy to install. And love being able to set multiple times for the light to turn on and off. Right now, it comes on at 6 am until 8 am. Then turns back on from 4-9 pm. My only disappointment is it is not near as bright as I thought it would be. The description says, "Super bright, high efficiency, high output LED light" -- well, it's not "super bright." It's more like "barely there".I had previously installed solar lights that were supposed to be bright, as well, but they were horribly disappointing. I left them in place as it was better than nothing. Decided to go ahead and find one that requires electricity as I assumed it would be brighter. Our chicken coop doesn't have power so I had to run a 100' extension cord in order to use this light. Between both the solar powered light and this light, then it is bright enough. I'd still prefer to have it even brighter - more like a daylight substitute - but it's okay. We only have 3 hens right now, and they had stopped laying mid-October or so. A few weeks ago, about 2 weeks after I installed this light, they started laying again.Overall, if you want a bright light (as in nearly a daylight substitute), look elsewhere. If a timer is of importance, that is the best feature of this coop light. Easy to program and, so far, very reliable.

Great light
This coop light provides plenty of extra light for my chickens in their 8x4 coop... if you've got a bigger cup than that you'll need another I'm guessing. This was easy to set up although since I did the programming in my house, then unplugged it and replugged it in the coop, it forgot the current date and time, so I had to reset that once it was in the coop. It did remember the light settings though, so no biggie. I've had it working for a couple weeks and have noticed my younger hens are starting to lay again... im hoping my older ones that range from 2 years old to 5 years old will start back up sooner than Februaryπ€

Not working
This is not working very well for us. I thought it would help with laying of eggs, but it's not doing as well as i thought it would. We do good to get 1 to 3 a day. Maybe it should be brighter.

Lighting capability
Much smaller than I thought it would be, but donβt let the size fill you! Easy to install and the LED is super bright! I was honestly surprised and my gems started laying again since the time change l!

Worked for a few weeks
EDIT: I replaced the power cord and it worked again. Still not overly impressed that the cord stopped working after about 6 weeks.I had this installed. It wasn't too hard to set up, but after about 6 weeks it stopped working. Maybe it is too cold here, I dont know. I checked the plug and power source, and those are fine. It just died. Very disappointing.
