Best wrap for neck in the market
This is the best wrap I ever bought for my neck. And I have bought many!It is good quality and the loop in the neck not only helps to keep it in place but to warm up the front of my neck.I put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and it is perfect. When I want it a little hotter I add half a minute.

FULL COVERAGE
This is the second product I acquired from this supplier. The first consisted of two tubes joined together and fit very nicely in the nap of my neck providing heat and support to the neck. This wrap is extended wider in the middle providing coverage higher up on the back of my head. The heat applied is controlled by using the microwave oven set to individual taste. The sensation of applying the warmth in this area is very pleasing in addition to complying with medical necessity as may be prescribed. These wraps can be used to apply cold as well, however, I have no requirements to do so.Once again, I have modified this wrap to include a loop and ball to button the wrap for my individual taste. The supplier has provided an elastic band to slip one end under the other to close the wrap ends together. There are no issues with the product, it does what it is supposed do very well. The added benefit of these wraps is that they continue to provide support to the area long after the microwave heat has left and they help to retain natural body heat.

I call it my Neck Buddy
Really long review for an item that is seemingly very "simple"... but I hope this helps someone like me.My Story:I've been having terrible neck pain (unknown cause), which has been keeping me from sleeping well for weeks and causing headaches that last for many days.Nothing has really cured my neck pain. But I found that HEAT does help ease my neck pain, and relaxes it enough for me to sleep.Heating pads (electric) are awesome, in theory, because they heat up quickly, and get super hot and stay hot. Unfortunately, I have tried multiple types, even the neck-shaped ones, and none of them are able to get the heat to my actual NECK/base of skull without me folding it or contorting it all sorts of directions. Folding an electric heating pad is not advisable and can cause the heating pad to melt, fail, and/or start a fire. So I was looking for another way... a safer way.I had been looking all over amazon to decide which microwavable neck wrap to get, and I found this one, and I was wary because it only had 2 reviews at the time. I took a chance and I do like it.My only problem with it is that it seems to take a LOTTTT longer than the recommended microwave time to get it to a heat that's hot enough to be, um, HOT! otherwise, it's just kinda warm, and what's the point?!So i'm finding myself spending a lot of time in front of the microwave, at least 5 minutes total, to heat this thing; microwave 1 minute, stop & check, not done, microwave another minute, stop & check, not done, flip, microwave another minute.... and on for about 5 minutes. I don't want it to catch fire like other people's wraps (on amazon) have done, so I must only do it for 1 minute, then stop and check it. DO NOT LEAVE IT UNATTENDED in the microwave!I assume this process is the same for ANY neck wrap that you buy, because they all seem to take freakin forever to heat up, regardless of its quality. I've done one filled with rice, and it took just as long. Note: my microwave is >1100 watts; so, it's not weak! So, I actually ended up using my little neck buddy for a non-advertised purpose, not its primary purpose.I love that it's solid on the inside and soft on the outside. I find myself using it in bed to rest my head in all sorts of positions; sideways, behind my neck for extra support, between my knees, behind my back, etc. I have problems with pillows being too "soft" or giving... Like, you put your head on it, and all the air lets out and you are basically just laying on the bed! what's the point!? Even the extra firm pillows are that way. I also have a memory foam pillow, but that is TOOO HARD! gahhh, is there no middle-ground!? So that's where my little neck buddy comes into play.I like putting my head on it, it's so soft, and i can mold it to whatever orientation that will make me comfortable in the moment. I'm a side-sleeper, so this helps me be able to sleep on my side without hurting my neck worse.I'm not saying this thing is the best thing in the world, but it definitely has become part of my nightly "bedding accessories" haha.Pros:-Once it's hot, it STAYS hot for a while.-Smells like fresh cookies are in the oven when you heat it up! mmmm-Super soft-HEAVY!-Solid!-Loop helps keep it on your neck, freeing your hands.Cons:- Takes way longer than it says to heat the wrap up to a temperature that's hot enough for me to call "hot" and/or helpful for my neck pain.

Fancy
I call this heating pad, my "fancy" warmer to distinguish it from a regular heating pad. Having that high back on it to cover your entire neck is pretty fancy to me. I hurt my neck to the point of having been bed ridden and moving around like a slug at the gym for rehabilitation. I owned a wheat heating pad for almost 20 years. I got to where I was overheating too much during the day for my neck when it was hurt. Holes from the microwave finally burned holes in it and I got to where I was duck taping those holes to keep the wheat in. With the new neck warmer I don't heat it up all at once. 2 minutes. let the microwave shut off then heat additional 1 minute. I was reading about microwave and how many of us don't understand how to properly use one. So in addition to that information, I started to understand how heat is distributed. Taking a heating pad for example or food- when you heat a full say, 3 minutes it gets super hot. However if you heat in increments, heat 2 minutes, let the microwave shut off, heat additional 1 minutes, the item does not get so super hot. This way I don't burn holes in my new heating pad. It is on the expensive side so I don't want to ruin it. I think it was worth my money. To have a wet sauna vapor neck warmer they give you directions but I get the vapor effect leaving the neck warmer as dry in the microwave so I really like that.Talking about hurt neck- Because it has that high back design giving it a neck brace like structure, it gives my head support allowing me to live my daily life and do things I normally might not be able to on a day I pulled a side muscle upon waking up. I wear it so often that I hate to take it off when eating but I make myself do it so I don't slobber food all over it. But once I take that heating pad off, my neck hurts. I am now on the mend and don't have to rely on the heating much so often now. When you pull a shoulder muscle - I still use this neck warmer. I let it lay hanging down to reach my shoulder blade. Not very comfortable but it gets the job without owning 20 different warming pads for all sorts of body parts.I have had to be in places where I didn't have a microwave to heat this neck warmer. Just wearing it for that neck brace alone gave helped my mental state alone. It instilled encouragement that I could still move around and not be in a lot of pain. Because it has such a high back, the heat from my own body during the day kept my neck loosened up enough to keep my mind off the pain. It has a nice heaviness to it.
