Great guitar strap value
Great quality for the price. Looks really nice and functions as expected. The length is great for a 6 foot, 250lb guitar player. Material is stiff which I like and will probably soften up a bit over time. It does not stretch like suede does which I like as well.

Quality craftsmanship
This strap is very comfortable and, has style with the white music notes against black.

Single ply but still Perris
This double stitched strap is of course, great quality as Perri’s always is but I expected it to be a tad thicker. Maybe a double ply , but it’s not. It’s a single layer of what appears to be traditional calf’s hide leather, and a tad stiff. After a good rub of mineral oil tho, it softened right up and felt like an old pal. If you’re looking for ultra soft tho, check out Perri’s ITALIAN leather straps. I have 3 and they’re incredibly comfortaable.

Comfortable even with heavy guitar
Highly recommended. Built very tough. Wide strap eases shoulder pain when playing 4 hour shows.

Good quality leather
I bought this strap especially for my Danelectro Blue Sparkle because It kind of matches the exterior vinyl on the edge of the guitar. Also because it is a Perri's I knew it would be a good piece of leather that I could add some conchos to or do some additional decorative work with a water slide transfer.I'm six feet tall with pretty broad shoulders and this strap was plenty long enough for me. As you can see there are still about 4 to 5 inches extra. The white leather is extra bright and you could treat it to keep it looking new for a long time, but I am going to let it age with the guitar.I've never been disappointed with a Perri's guitar strap.

Perri's leathers 2.5" black BDS-175: I like it
I put the Perri's # in the title because Amazon tends to apply a review on ONE item to ALL within a category. Anyhoo... This is a good leather strap. The shortest I can adjust it is 51" eyelet to eyelet so the description on Amazon is inaccurate. ...but that's fine for me, I wear my G&L L2500 slightly higher than most, and it's still short enough. I'm 5'9". This strap has a seude-ish unfinished/rough (inner) side which will grip some to your shirt. I wear mine slick side (Perri's logo side) in, so it does NOT tug my clothes, that's how I like it, and the "rough" side out looks plenty good for me. I leave straps on guitars, so I'm not going to spend big money on straps. This one's just fine and looks like it will last. I'll probably buy another BDS-175 or other Perri's strap. I wish manufacturers would realize that accurate adjustment ranges are pretty important and stuff like "will this strap grip my shirt or slide" is a more important part of the strap buying process for some of us than what icons/symbols/motifs they may have on them. Thanka... thanka vera mush...

Not as nice as the similar Fender Vintage strap
I decided to try out a Perri’s because it was about $5 less than the similar Fender Vintage strap, but I wish I had just bought the Fender strap. The leather on the Perri’s looks cheap, with a plasticky finish and a rather dull color. While the strap itself is more pliable than the Fender, it also appears to be not as rugged (although only time will tell if that is so). It’s pretty comfortable, and it's not ridiculously long like the Fender strap is.
