This is the typical Modican chocolate. The chocolate bar was fresh and arrived well-packaged. No issues. It taste great to me. I got the orange and pistachio versions and both are delicious

Love this Modica chocolate which taste more like food because it isn’t too sweet. And its favorite is so well balanced with minuscule pistachios mixed into the chocolate. Utterly delicious!

I would eat this and share it with other dark chocolate lovers about once a year.

I went to Modica recently and fell in love with the chocolate. This is everything I would want. It’s the same. So crumbly and magnificent in my mouth.

I expected this to have a rich chocolate flavor with the hint of orange, but instead it is much more like caked granula sugar with chocolate flavoring. It is not possible to eat this straight. Upon careful rereading of the product discription, it is what it is, but I would never give this to someone as a gif. Not knowing the story behind it, someone would think this chocolate had gone bad. The only thing I can think of using this for is breaking it into pieces and adding it into coffee. This is one of those Italian artisan things, like Grappa, you have to have a taste for it, otherwise you should pass.

Love this chocolate. On a trip some time ago in Sicily, I bought several chocolate bars to bring home as gifts. I ended up eating all of them on the trip, they were so delicious. Since then I've been trying to find authentic Sicilian chocolate with the same gritty granular texture. This tastes and feels just like Sicilian chocolate!

Thank You Ms Gianetti. Hard to find in the States. Orange, Pistaccio & 50/50 are nice and crunchy from the brown sugar crystals. Still looking for Don Puglisi cafe?

I've always been a been a major fan of Italian food and desserts but once I read about this chocolate, I had to try it. It does NOT disappoint! Its so good that I'll definitely purchase it again.

I was very excited to see Modica chocolate available on Amazon. I had very high expectations as I have not had this product since living in Sicily. I was not disappointed! The chocolate was just as fresh and delicious as I remember. I will be ordering again!
