I thought I had a problem with it not connecting to my devices after a few days of use, but it was just a dumb error that the supply had backed out of the power strip. It's not obvious since the hub is still recognized and the green power lights still come on, but no connection could be established with the flash drive I was using to check it. So the only very minor error I have is that WIN7 complains after boot that the hub could perform faster if connected to a Super-Speed port, which it is (actually a USB 3.1 port), but speed checks confirm USB 3 transfer rates.

I have one of those small soundbars with a 3.5mm audio output and USB powered. It has a glowing blue led when it's plugged in. Instead of unplugging it every time I get off the computer, I use this USB hub and just power off the USB port. It essentially gives the soundbar a power button.I haven't used it for data transfer yet but I'm sure it's fine.

If you have need for easy access to USB ports on your desk top PC this powered port does an exceptional job. I especially like the ability to turn each port on or off individually. This great for plugging in your external drives or dongles. This is the second multi port hub I have purchased with these features.

house hasnt burned down yet, so i am happy, but seriously it is imperative to buy quality usb accessories or you can toast your computers. Here's a good option that does it job like it should.

Already have the larger one and needed the smaller for my other computer. This does just what I need it to and I have no complaints. Will probably buy one for the kids too.

Today's laptops have usually only 2 (or maybe 3) USB ports and yet we still have may peripherals to attach to the laptop. I have a mouse, keyboard, external hard drive and headset. I would have to replace the items with Bluetooth enabled versions and that gets expensive (plus I find Bluetooth a bit unreliable at times). So instead I bought this product and it's great. It has power (an A/C adapter), plus 4 USB3 ports, and a separate port for charging. Each of the ports have a power switch. The device is only about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide It has a nice log cord to go from the device to one of your computer's USB ports so it so it can easily sit on a back corner of my desk, out of the way. I no longer have to swap devices out in order to use the limited USB's on my laptop -- this is a perfect solution and I definitely recommend.

Good value USB 3.0 hub.The on-off switches are very useful and feel sturdy enough.More than an adequately sized power supply included, in case you use all ports at the same time.Tested with several USB 3.0 HDDs and mass data copying, no issues, nice high sustained speed, no disconnects.This is already the second one I bought.

device when I take multiple External HD with me. It is a handy little device that has a high rate of data transfer and I am confident that this device will work properly. I like the fact that I can plug it in and reply on it to function properly, I plug a couple Ex-HD into it, it pushes ten TB with no problems. I am satisfied and recommend this device for a carry around "Hub".I assume that it would work as a stationary HUB as well, I have a bigger HUB for my desk & work station. Only, because I need more ports than five on the desk. (Remember the days of 500 MB was a lot of data memory?)Auld Lang Sang

The product does the job !!!! No problem so far. A bought previously a product from another manufacturer who didn't included the acdc adapter. I had problem with external usb flash drive. With this one, no more problem.What I like with that product is the long cable for the usb port and for the acdc adapter.
