The media could not be loaded.  It flickers iike a live candle, nice display for indoor and outdoor alike. Party necessity as conversational piece. Love the LED functionality that saves me time and money to charge. I just need the solar energy and boom!!!, ready to light up.This is now a part of my collection of lanterns. I plan to hang them all outdoor this coming spring and summer seasons. I can't wait for a change of season! Am sure our family and friends would appreciate them too, backyard gathering of course. Sure to tell them where to get them.

I expected this item to be mostly plastic and not light up after rainy or cloudy days. I also expected it to only light up for a few hours. To my surprise, it is metal, very well made, and looks just like a candle flickering in the dark. The light comes on at dusk and burns until dawn. We just experienced terrible weather with high winds and rain and this lantern stayed put on the table on the deck.

This is a beautiful lantern and looks great when it's lit. My problem is that, even when fully charged, it doesn't come on unless I tap or shake it a little bit. Even then it goes out again after a short while, as if it's got a loose wire. I opened the top cover and the wiring to the solar cell all looks okay. I've been going out onto my deck to tap it a little bit each night so that it will come on, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a lantern that is supposed come on automatically at dusk.

We mounted the lantern on a Shepherd's hook and it looks really nice on the driveway next to the mailbox. It flickers like a real nice candle and has nice patterns on the metallic frame.We are thinking of getting a few more for Yard.

When I bought this I didn’t realize it had a candle in it! It flickers as though it is a real candle even though it’s solar powered! Very delicate patterns shine through . Another great addition to my solar yard art collection!

I ordered and received 2 (effectively $10 each). At this price, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that 1 of the 2 was defective right out of the box and would not work. So, I ended up paying $20 for just one. I like the one that works, so bummed out that in order to have a pair, which I wanted, I can either pony up and pay $20 and hope one of them in the next shipment works, or go through the rigmarole of returning the defective one. I know, first world problems.....

We bought four and they all totally rusted out and lights stopped working after a few months. The small circular solar panel at the top popped out of two of them. Don't waste your money.

Purchased this to replace an old lantern that was also solar that had just run it's course. This lantern is beautiful, light weight with a dim flicker of light. Purchased to put beside a memorial for our dogs. It's just beautiful and makes the statement as if they are still with us, lighting our path.
