Review: Cute giraffe blanket! Daughter loves it - I bought this blanket to give to my daughter when she was born, and I have had it since. She absolutely loves this one and I have actually bought multiple of these because she loves it so much. I want to make sure that I have one at the house at all times, just in case she loses it. I’ve washed it multiple times. It’s still very soft and the quality is great. Review: Soft, well made, unbeatable price (bought 3) - Absolutely recommend. I purchased 3 of the pink with giraffes. The picture accurately depicts the colors. I’ll be honest I purchased these thinking that for $4.33 I’d be returning them. But, knowing the cost of fabric I figured I’d give it a shot. Well...I was wrong. I’ll be keeping all 3 and have sent the link to my friend who is expecting as well. Here’s the basics of these: No, they are not thick plush blankets...they’re minky blankets. So if you’re looking for thickness look elsewhere. But just because they are not thick does not mean they are not warm. This is not a breathable fabric therefore the 2 layers makes them warm. If you’re not familiar with minky fabric it is silky feeling; one side of these blankets is textured with “bumps” which are like indentations in the material itself and not an added plushness or actual bump. They are not huge blankets. That’s not what baby blankets are. I took a picture of it laid out in my full size crib to give a better idea of size. I have no issue with the way they are sewn. There are no raw edges, no missed stitching, no strings etc. There is no binding/silk trim which seems to be what some people were expecting even though it’s not pictured that way and that’s an out-dated look. For those saying it’s not worth the price...In general minky fabric runs about $10/yard so there’s no way you’re going to make this for $4 unless you get REALLY lucky on clearance. You’d also have to buy a matching spool of thread unless you happen to have it already. And then there’s the time involved in measuring, cutting and sewing it. Even if you’re looking for something “thicker” you’d be better off buying this blanket, splitting the seems and adding your own batting. ## Features - Cozy, comfortable soft plush blanket (one layer mink / one layer dot mink) - Made with 100% polyester / Sized 30x40 inches - Soft and gentle on baby's skin - Optimal for everyday use - Affordable, high quality plush blanket ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00M8BX182 | | Additional Features | Soft | | Age Range Description | Baby | | Animal Theme | Giraffe | | Best Sellers Rank | #30,080 in Baby ( See Top 100 in Baby ) #665 in Nursery Bed Blankets | | Blanket Form | Single Layered Blanket | | Brand | Hudson Baby | | Brand Name | Hudson Baby | | Color | Pink Giraffe | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 7,359 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Fabric Warmth Description | Heavyweight | | Fill Material | Polyester | | Item Dimensions L x W | 40"L x 30"W | | Manufacturer | Hudson Baby | | Manufacturer Part Number | 50572_Pink | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Name | Plush Mink Blanket | | Model Number | 50572_PinkGiraffe | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Dot | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Recommended User Type | Baby | | Recommended Uses For Product | Napping | | Seasons | Winter | | Size | One Size | | Special Feature | Soft | | Sport Type | Camping | | Style | Plush Mink Blanket | | Style Name | Plush Mink Blanket | | Theme | Animals | | UPC | 885683323833 660168505733 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hudson Baby - **Color:** Pink Giraffe - **Material:** Polyester - **Special Feature:** Soft - **Style:** Plush Mink Blanket ## Images ![Hudson Baby Unisex Baby Plush Mink Blanket, Pink Giraffe, One Size - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/810VParJcZL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute giraffe blanket!
