Par Avion Tea - Midnight Blend - Loose Black Tea With Sparkling Edible Gold Glitter 2 Ounce

The tea itself is sub-par; kind of along the lines of a weak black tea. However, the only reason I know this is because I had to keep it for myself. The packaging was horrible! There was a giant piece of sticky tape over the front of the label, obscuring the entire front of the package. This was supposed to be a gift. Boo.

I found out about this tea because my friend had the "Libra" tea on her wish list. I purchased this one for myself. I liked the idea of the sparkles in the tea, and it had good reviews so figured I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, the tea packaging is squished into the small container, so when I opened it, the plastic holding the LOOSE tea was damaged, and quite a bit of tea spilled out. For the price, the packaging should be way better. As for the glitter - there isn't much in there - it looks like regular tea for the most part, and tastes like plain Chamomile. I wouldn't buy this again.

Glitter? Not really... I mean there's a sheen of sparkles but honestly, I didn't expect much. BUT it's actually a delicious tea and will be purchasing more in the future based off that fact alone.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. The packaging is really cute and almost worth the price in its self, but the actual tea leaves were pretty and smelled great. It seems to actually be made of well thought out blends and I’m hoping she loves it. I can’t imagine the tin will last long but all in all I think this was a great purchase.

My friend loved this as a birthday gift. She loves tea and space-themed stuff so this was perfect for her. The tin was smaller than I expected so this isn't ideal for buying for yourself often but it goes well with other tea-themed gifts.

I was kind of thinking that since it was sparkly it might not taste very good. Like maybe it was only being bought because of the glitter but no it actually tastes very good a strong but sweet flavour. I will buy it again!

Super cute tea! I love how it sparkles! This is a great gift idea but be aware, this tea is not allergan friendly - those with food sensitivities should proceed with caution.
