Birds approve !
The birds in my garden seem to enjoy this brand. Supplies of bird seed have been intermittent during the Covid 19 pandemic, presumably due to staff reductions affecting delivery, but are improving now.Lots of different seeds - I have yet to find ANY seed brand, from cheaper to very expensive, which does not result in some seeds being tossed aside - I don't view this as a negative thing or a reflection on the quality of the seed overall, just each species preference.

My birds don't like this food
My birds don't like this food .. they have a couple of picks, then fly away ... even the black birds .. one try then off they go .. an black birds are not normally picky. Iv'e tried soaking to make them softer, added a little sugar. they're just not interested. they all just sit on the fence lookin at me.Ok, now its turned freezing cold outside, and the Black birds can't get any worms ... so they've now decided they like the "extra select" seeds after all :-) lol

Great for ground feeders but blocked up bird feeders.
This seed mix is great for spreading on the ground or on a bird table- house sparrows, black birds, robins and herring gulls loved it and I do like the no-mess, no-germination idea (although I had a lovely bird seed sown stand of blue flax under my feeder last summer from a different seed mix). However, the seed didn't flow freely out of the holes of any of our three feeders of quite different designs (a tall Chapelwood seed feeder, a ceramic ball-shaped feeder and a transparent window feeder) so that I had to keep shaking the seed down and onto the ground to make it available.

5 stars
I've been buying this for years. The birds love it and the ground isn't covered in empty kernels. It lasts a lot longer because the birds aren't chucking most of it on the ground. Highly recommended.

Not very popular with local wildlife
Ordered a small bag to try out on local wildlife but they eat everything put out except this. Even grey squirrels leave it and they seem to eat everything else. Product did arrive on time and is as advertised but unfortunately not very popular with local wildlife.

Good Bird Food
Nice size tub and the birds seem to absolutely love the food. It's not cheap feeding the birds these days but this tub is better value.

Good quality but how different from your normal feed ?
High quantity of shelled sunflower seed. This is new to my local birds and is taking time to become assimilated.Strangely enough it goes down a treat with a squirrel that visits occasionally. The seed itself is of good quality. My holding back a star is purely because of my own experience to date.I expect as my birds become more familiar with the mix, then it will become more popular.Winter will no doubt see the change

Bird mix food
I can't say this food is attracting the birds to my garden like before. I'll have to go back to the suet pellets.
