What a nice piece of material! It's weighted enough to function as the table topper for which I purchased it. It goes atop an old hand-made cherry-stained desk. The wood is soft and it scratches easily. For decades I used a traditional table runner, but runners are too narrow and intended to be down the middle only. This leaves too much exposed area. In comes this beautiful reversible paisley pashmina. It's absolutely perfect on the deep desk (and I can double-duty it for a shoulder scarf with a coordinated outfit). I arranged the pashmina slightly toward the front of the desk, allowing a few collectibles to sit at the back for a bit of decorated emphasis. The arrangement is perfect, with ends handing over sides about 7"-8" each side. My bedroom decor is eclectic, think boho meets Arabian nights. There are muted greens (like this scarf, sage, olive, deep emerald), browns (soft & dark), pops of gold, and just a touch of ruby and royal blue. Peacock feathers and artisan glass hanging lights and lanterns all contribute. And, FINALLY, I found the perfect desk topper that supports the theme!! Just wonderful. BTW, it washed well on cold with gentle detergent. No frays or loose threads. Tumbled it in dryer for 8-10 mins dryer to release any wrinkles. Hung to dry.

Very soft, great length, quick delivery. The colors are much more VIVID than pictured. I know you can't bank on what you see, given the variations in computers. But it's a very different thing than what I saw. They are much BRIGHTER than pictured. I expected something with dimmer colors. Picture the difference between the colors in a '60s miniskirt, and something you might find in an antique shop. I'm going to try to make it work, because, you know, Easter is in 2 days, I spent all day yesterday searching, yada yada. I just wanted people to know that they may be radically different than what you expect.

I ordered the burgundy, and it’s a rich, deep color that I love. There’s a medium sheen—not too shiny nor dull—and it’s long, as described. The reverse side is a golden green main color. It feels silky-soft, and has substance to it while still being feather-light. Looks durable enough, and not so sheer that I can see right through it. What a beautiful, easy way to finish off a look, and it’s super versatile. Just search “how to wear a scarf/stole/ shawl” and you’ll be all set. Oh, important: when I opened this from the plastic, it didn’t have a strong odor, but I always air out a new scarf/shawl/stole over a dining room chair or shower rod for a day or so. I think I’ll order another color now that I know they’re worth it

I love these scarfs (have a couple) for their softness and elegance. You must be careful if you wear jewelry as threads can easily be pulled.
