I ordered this backpack because it showed (and described) a phone pocket on shoulder strap. Awesome for traveling. The backpack that arrived did not have that feature. Looked like a good backpack but I wanted that feature. Returned with no issue. However I emailed High Sierra asking how to order the backpack shown and they never responded. So I’m going to another brand. They were a response away from a sale and happy customer.

Not quite as good as I'd hoped...
Not very useful pockets for credit cards, passports, etc. Needs to be better though out in this important area. Rest of the backpack seems pretty good though.

This backpack was perfect for my laptop
This backpack was perfect for my laptop, ipad, droneware, camera and accessories. Even had room for some clothes and food/snacks. One suggestion: A lap belt attachment with a camera tripod attach strap. Thanks.

Father and son High Sierra backpacks
My son was in immediate need for a backpack for a scheduled trip. So, unloaded my earlier High Sierra pack and gave it to him for his trip while I ordered my replacement, the High Sierra Elite Fly-By TSA Friendly backpack. My son loves the pack that I gave to him and I am delighted with my replacement. I just returned from a trip involving air travel and the back worked perfectly while going through TSA Security. I was not required to remove my laptop from the bag at all. This is helpful.Thank you!

17" for midget only
Does not fit a 17" laptop computer. Missed by at least 2". Thus must be 17" for midgets where 17" is really 15" Idiotic to advertise for a 17". Waste of time energy and money. Amazon should be sued for false advertising.
