I bought this for my son's birthday. The Mighty Carver exceeded my expectations in quality, affordability, easy to use, and fun!! He's an outdoorsman and was so intrigued by the Mighty Carver that he fried a turkey the next day to try it out! Highly recommend, can't wait to surprise everyone at Thanksgiving.

Definitely an eyebrow raiser when you whip this out! Was surprisingly hard to get the blades on but other than that … works well. Easy to clean, that’s a plus .

My husband loves gimmicks, and it turns out that that is what this knife is. The blades dulled to the point of being useless before even getting through our prime rib at Christmas; we had to pull out the cold carving set and finish the job the old-fashioned way. Great conversation piece and looks cool, but at this point that is its only value. If we were actually going to keep this before throwing it out it also needs some kind of case to store it in.Update--This company really stands behind their product. After my review published, they contacted me and made arrangements to send new blades. The replacement blades arrived (two sets!) free of charge. We haven't used them yet but have great expectations. My SIL loves his mighty carver and was bragging about it to my other SIL while he was carving his Thanksgiving turkey with "just another knife". So, naturally, I ordered him one so I don't play favorites.It slices perfectly and draws a crowd when it's pulled out to carve. I am sure it will be their favorite knife to use!

I beg you to not purchase this item. I had high hopes. My chef knife works circles around this absolute disaster. Omg… really, this DOES NOT DO THE JOB. And I’m trying to carve a watermelon. My knife , as I said is better. What a waste of money.

Great value and quality

Many years ago my son had a chainsaw accident. When I saw this I thought it would give him a laugh at Christmas. Now a father of a little boy he is so excited using this chainsaw - under supervision of course.For the man who has everything this is a wonderful gift!!
