I would normally wear a medium/large or an 8/10 in clothing. I purposely ordered an XL so I could ensure that it would be ankle/floor length and just be super comfy. I am very happy that I ordered this size. ( Though I'm fairly sure that a size Large would've been about the same length and would've fit well too, but with a little less material to wrap around) I stand 5'4 1/2, and weigh 155. This robe in an XL is long and hits just below my ankles. It has an inner tie and an attached belt. It looks like a simple wrap dress. I ordered it in black and I just love it. I've not washed it yet, so will update if there is shrinkage. The sleeves are 3/4 length which is perfect in the kitchen or when you're washing your face, hands etc... The drape is flattering and it flows, and the material is nice and cool for the warmer spring/summer weather. I think I'll order the purple next, though I also have my eye on the green. AND, the price is awesome and affordable.
