Using one of these, filing in a single direction across the nail tip, is supposed to help with causing the nails layers to re-bond. It's certainly very gentle and hard to believe that it can be that gentle and yet remove nail at a respectable rate. Using this a couple of times a week, for a quick rub on every nail is all I need, supposedly, and we shall see. The other advice I received was spot-on so I'm hoping this is too.The price is great for a file that will never wear out, and will last forever unless broken. As opposed to other glass nail files the pointy end is slim enough to fit under my nails, if there are any bits that need removing.The only thing I'm not keen on is the cheapness of the carrying case - it otherwise spoils what is a lovely product.
