Older home with larger holes than a standard 13" round fixture would cover- these did the trick and look nice. Cheaper than local big box store.

The people that built the house incorrectly made a hole in the ceiling for the light fixture and did not repair as the light covered the off cut...so when I went to put up the ceiling fan there was a half hole in the ceiling where scorpions would fall to the floor. That was a "big no bueno"...as you might imagine. This is just about the size of the fan that holds the blades and once it was spray painted black it is prefect and not a stand out feature...but compliments.

I used this with our new bathroom ceiling vent/fan. It is an old home (circa 1909) so most of the holes around our outlets, lights, plugs, etc .. are pretty open, lath and plaster, and need some work to cover.Although this is the least expensive one, I could find (that would arrive before 2025) it does the job, looks fine, and if you need to paint it, it will hold paint just like any other PVC based molding.I had to cut the 4" circle out to fit my bathroom fan, but it was nothing a simple jig saw couldn't handle.Would recommend, works well.

A simple medallion; especially good for fans that require using a screwdriver on the base. The medallion is flat in nature (no large curves) but it does have some decorative marks/ridges around the opening that may be hard to see in the picture.

I returned this because it was very large and looked too fake for my personal taste. It is very large.

Very expensive for a piece of plastic but good quality.
