I’m a huge fan of these capsules - on doctor’s orders, I used to have the isphagula husk stuff in a sachet (Fibrogel), which had to be stirred into a huge glass of water then drunk very quickly before it turned to thick jelly. It was revolting, tasted of sickly orange, and I ended up with a mouthful of little gritty bits. But I persevered as I have chronic digestion issues and let’s just say, I’m not regular, far from it! Then I discovered these little beauties and now I’m such a convert, I rave about them to anyone who’ll listen (and my doctor is very happy with my inner health). The basic concept is the same - taken one or two with a large glass of water (don’t even attempt to swallow them without lots of liquid) and job done. They swell up in your system to create insoluble fibre and bingo, no more constipation. You can adjust the number of pills you take to suit your own needs - they suggest two twice a day, but it suits me better to take one, four times a day and that works spectacularly well for me. No more bloating, no more discomfort, no more constipation and crucially for me personally, no more diverticulitis. Which, trust me, is a godsend. They’re worth their weight in gold and I have them on repeat order, will never be without them now. A big bottle lasts months so they’re also cheap - oh and they don’t taste of anything, plus they’re easy to swallow. Absolute winner in my book.

First thing I noticed, this is a BIG bottle! Pills are fairly big but not overly so - not difficult to swallow at all. No noticeable taste or smell to the pills either. They work as expected - taking them twice a day with lots of water had a noticeable effect within the first day. Have continued as they counteract the side effects of other medication I use. Exactly what I was looking for and really good value - I've been using them around two months and still have plenty.

I've been using phsyliam husk capsules for years and these particular ones work well. As you age everything slows down and appetite decreases so i dont eat as much as others might, but these keep ones bowels moving well as add that so important fibre many diets lack. Two capsules twice daily work but personally I like occasionally to take an extra two mid day. Not a laxative but just extra fibre to help things along their way so to speak without having to sit on the throne straining for ages.

Someone suggest me, it is working great. It is value for money.

Psyllium Husk capsules are now part of my daily intake. I needed help with my digestive tract, I was hospitalised three times with severe infection due to perforated bowel. My stomach was constantly bloated and uncomfortable. I've been taking them for four weeks and I can't believe how much better I'm feeling. I have to drink plenty of water when taking them as I really struggled one morning, I didn't drink enough and the capsule got stuck in my throat, it is quite a big capsule that tastes quite awful when this happens...the advice they've given on the side of the container should be followed exactly.....easier to swallow, not much flavour and not too big if taken with lots of water.

Great pill if you need to balance you gym and diet with fibre.

Only been using these husk capsules for 6 days but blimey!!!! What a difference I seen in such a short time!!!! I have struggled for yrs because of "IBS" the problem with my bowels/intestines has always been a nightmare. Not since I've been taking these husks! I do drink alot more water since taking the capsules but that's because it states to drink plenty fluids so I'm doing my part on that score, but what a difference, regularly every day and no constipation either, I honestly cannot believe the effect of these 4 x capsules a day has done for my intestines and bowels, my only regret in this is that I only wish I'd discovered these earlier, obviously I can only speak for myself but as I've already stated twice...the difference is unbelievable. It has made such a massive impact on my life in such a short space of time. UPDATE....Since taking these Psyllium Husks I have not suffered with any constipation at all!!! That in itself is a miracle for me.

Mein Mann konnte durch die Kapseln seine Laxans-Tropfen um die Hälfte reduzieren. Mit den eigentlichen Flohsamen kam er so gar nicht zurecht (ich, wenn ich ehrlich bin, auch nicht, das Zeug ist einfach widerlich zum Trinken, aber ich sitz jetzt auf anderthalb vollen Packungen, die müssen ja leider weiter). Die Kapseln sind da um ein Vielfaches besser, und die Dosierung ist immer die gleiche, was auch von Vorteil ist. Kaufe ich ab sofort immer wieder.
