Great way to put buttery flavor into my foods :)
I love butter! Who doesn't? But I'm 60 now, post menopausal, and have to watch my cholesterol. Also discovered recently, I have very high LP(a). So I'm taking saturated fats seriously. I love to sautee veggies with garlic and olive oil, but one day I whipped up a concoction that felt like it was missing something - butter. But I was determined to avoid actual butter, so I went looking around, and discovered this! I did not really know butter extract was a thing - Yay! i tried it the other day on my veggies and it was so good! Just a few drops was enough. I added it as a condiment to hot food, but I got a bit of alcohol. So next time I'll add it at the end of the cook cycle so there's enough heat to burn off the alcohol. Bet this would taste amazing in baked goods. So happy I found something that let's me have my butter flavor and aroma without the fat. It's made from real butter, no chemical substitute, all natural. All the flavor, none of the fat. And can't beat the price. Win-win! Enjoy :)

Great for Baking
This butter extract adds rich buttery flavor to baked goods without needing additional butter flavoring ingredients. I’ve used it in cookies, cakes, and frostings with great results. A little goes a long way.

Better Deal Than the Grocery Store
I went to 4 different stores trying to find this Butter Extract. And this was the only place I could find it. I bake cakes, and this Butter flavor is key to my Butter Pecan pound cakes. The smell, taste and concentration is perfect for them.

Butter flavor when you can't use butter.
Stinks in the bottle but does impart butter flavor to food when you need that extra oomph but can't add more fat or don't wish too. I use this for keto almond bread to make it taste more bready. Love it.

If you need to boost a specific flavor....
I purchased an array of extracts so I have them when I need to boost a specific flavor. I highly recommend that when you use them you use them sparingly. They are no substitute for using the real deal in your concoctions. One thing I discovered is that even though extracts are derived from the element of the source that is responsible for its flavor they do not always taste how you would expect. Butter extract reminds me of butter flavoring found in artificially flavored butter popcorn. It also smells identical to artificially flavored butter popcorn. I recommend that you avoid using butter extract as the primary source of butter flavoring. If you need to enhance the butter flavor of your concoction, only use a very small amount to subtly enhance the butter taste. More than this and you will be in artificial flavor territory.

Was soll ich sagen? Es schmeckt nach: NICHTS. -Jedenfalls nicht nach Butter. Rausgeschmissenes Geld! Ich habe keine Ahnung, was die Amis daran toll finden. Andererseits: die wählen ja auch Goldlocke zum Präsidenten. Das erklärt es vielleicht.
