Excellent choice for an ergonomic gaming mouse
Background: PC gamer with desk based job with wrists that have deteriorated to the point where a regular mouse is very uncomfortable to use. I have used gaming mice from all the major providers over the years, as well as some of the common ergonomic recommendations such as the Posturite Penguin and various iterations of trackballs. I had been eyeing up the Anker vertical mouse but was put off by the limited DPI selections and then I saw this. I paid £19.99 and honestly it is hard to find a fault with the mouse, particularly at this price. The shape is comfortable and does not cause me any wrist discomfort, it is easy to maintain a neutral non-gripping hand position and use the mouse effectively. The RGB strobe that it comes with out of the box is a minor irritation, but the software download available for the mouse allows it to be disabled. More importantly, the software allows customisation of the DPI (and to set colour indications for the different settings) and roles of each of the buttons, which can then be saved to the mouse. This works across computers, useful if you, like me, have a personal PC that you can install software on and a work PC that you cannot. The main buttons seem to have decent quality switches and a comfortable actuation pressure. The scroll wheel is adequate, not of the quality that you'd get on a high end mouse, but that's not what you're paying for here. I don't know what sensor is in the mouse, but it is good enough for FPS games and the sensor position under the hand feels natural, unlike with the Penguin mouse. TL;DR - if you have wrist issues and you're used to quality, software-customisable, gaming mice for whatever purpose, give this a shot. It would still be a good purchase at £40 and I hope the other companies follow suit with their own versions.

Perfect alternative to traditional gaming mouses
Excellent mouse and it has totally mitigated stress that I'd relate to developing carpal tunnel. There are moments that I find myself with an aching index finger, but I usually manage this by relaxing it a moment. It's probably a habit I have with this kind of mouse. I've been using it for FPS gaming and its manager offers great control, including programmable DPI settings (so its not just a toggle between presets that you can't change). The lights and everything are customizable so it's everything you'd need, really. It feels like it has a cheap plastic build but mine has persisted for over two years. I will say my right-click seemed like it might finally conk out on me a few months ago, but it works fine again. Not sure how it fixed itself but it works for me. If I could add anything to this mouse then it would be customisable weights. Sometimes it feels too light for my uses, but that's maybe more niche than is necessary to warrant adjusting it. The side buttons sometimes feel kind of flimsy, like they're sort of taped on the side of the mouse on the inside. This is definitely something I would fit more securely because I do often need to use them. My worst critique would be the inability to use several of the peripheral buttons with others. For instance, if I hold down either side button, then my PC won't register left or right clicks. Again, I've made workarounds for my uses, but it would be nice to know that this could be fixed. Unfortunately I gather it's a hardware problem rather than a software one.

Can't go back to a normal mouse
This is very good. I don't use it for gaming though, only regular computer work and also as my main mouse 40 hours per week whilst working from home. Its very comfortable and the material its made is soft which I like. A weird quirk I've noticed is that my laptop doesn't start up when this mouse is plugged in, it gets stuck on the opening black screen. I believe this is because the mouse is drawing a lot of power from the laptop not I'm unsure. The app used with the mouse is OK, you can change dpi settings and colours however I don't care about any of this stuff.

Pretty good but some functions are lacking
I like the feel of it and is a better ergo fit than most gaming mice. 1000hz polling is good and there's lights on it that you can change colour and sequence if you want. It's corded which isn't a problem for me. It can be lifted without losing control which is good. The main downsides are that that the thumb position is quite low compared to my office ergo mice, not a very relaxed grip. But the main issue is that the thumb buttons can't be used at the same time as the finger buttons. A big problem for some games (can't binosnipe in WT with the standard layout, also crouch and do anything in a lot of games). I do wish it had a third finger buttons. I have office mice with this function but only at 125hz polling. Adding, I have since bought an Evoluent D. 250hz polling rate (could never tell the difference). 2 thumb buttons and the holy grail of the ring finger button ☺. Plus the thumb position is so much better.

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR LONGEVITY
This mouse is an EXTREMELY sad case. The ergonomics are amazing, HOWEVER, I ignored other negative reviews thinking they might have exaggerated about the scroll wheel breaking quickly, and sure enough after 4 months, the scroll wheel all of a sudden spins freely and no longer works. This is mainly sad since the ergonomics are the best i've seen so far for a vertical mouse. Your pinky finger sits well on the side of the mouse with a comfortable thumb rest and a smooth but slightly textured matte material that doesn't get oily. Pretty much perfect on design, but it is absolutely ruined by it's internals' build quality Also, the LED's inside have no mapping available (so it always cycles through RGB colours) and the mouse4 button will occasionally get stuck inside and need to be pulled out

This is the best vertical gaming mouse in a barren market.
I have spent weeks researching vertical mice, i've had an RSI for around a year, and this is the best gaming mouse out there. The only downside is it is wired but that is far less important than its features, which are. unmatched by other vertical mice. If this were a normal mouse it would probably be considered very mediocre compared to high end mice, but in the empty vertical mouse market this is the G Pro Superlight of vertical mice. I used a Superlight before switching and it was much easier than I expected to adapt to a vertical mouse, my aim was pretty much the same after a week, and i've been able to improve since, it's not a disadvantage. The mouse is, very importantly, comfortable. I've been able to recover from my RSI whilst playing multiple hours of FPS titles a day, alongside an ergonomic keyboard setup. I've had to replace this mouse once, the scroll wheel broke, it appears to be attached with a very fine socket.

OK, but the mouse wheel broke in three months
I bought it because my forearm and wrist ached when using the mouse, and I wanted a solution that let me play games. - I've had it for three months and the mouse wheel has stopped working completely. I use the wheel so much that it's absolutely impossible to keep on using the mouse. I'm very disappointed. - The mouse keeps your hand in a sort of diagonal position, not vertically. It helped my ache, yes. But it might not be what your are after//may not be as good as the vertical logitech, but I haven't tried any other. - It comes with a driver that lets you change the button mapping, which is a must for gaming. - I played shooters, mmos, and other games with it, and was OK. Have in mind your aiming accuracy will suffer, because tracking feels different. Not saying you cannot get used to it though. For mmos, you cannot use the side buttons AND the regular buttons at the same time. - It is very light compared to my gaming logitech. Doesn't have weights built in. This was a plus for me. - It is the size of a logitech g502. So I'd say it is a middle-sized mouse, though it feels larger due to the shape. - Has five DPI settings controlled with a button. They are configurable with the driver.

Best vertical mouse for gaming.
Best vertical mouse I've used for gaming. The sensor accuracy is good. The mouse buttons also feel fine to me, so don't understand some reviews that day the mouse click is firm. The software to configure the buttons and lights work well. For some reason this isn't quite as easy to pick up as an anchor vertical mouse which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. For office use get an anchor as it's easier to pickup and is a very slightly better shape but no where near responsive enough for FPS gaming. For gaming don't hesitate to get the trust Rexx. It takes the pressure of the wrist, is responsive and accurate.

Great mouse
Overall, a great mouse. The only issues is the matte finish marks so easily with hand prints wearing it away pretty quickly to a glossy finish.
