Well, for those who did not understand anything at all on my first sentences, I will try to tell you as much as possible about all the possibilities of this particular device on my own experience and similar devices (theoretically), as well as discuss all the pros and cons as much as and opportunities.Immediately, I note that owners of machines with the most advanced multimedia systems cannot be interested in such a device, there is simply no need. Modern car stereos support many functions, play music from a USB flash drive and from a phone via Bluetooth, and often play the role of HandsFree for receiving an incoming phone call, and much more.But what if you have an old enough radio in the car that doesn’t allow anything more than to listen to the radio, and can you still play a CD? You can replace everything - either the radio or the car entirely :) But both options are quite expensive, especially if you are satisfied with everything else in your car. That's how it suits me almost everything in my not the youngest, but quite frisky VW BoraIn such a case, a simple and budget solution such asBluetooth FM transmitter ULYCOOL, with which you will start listening to MP3, WMA, Flac and other audio formats, as well as using your smartphone in HandsFree mode:This miniature device is like immediately, at first glance. It is made very soundly. This also applies to very high-quality plastic with a perfect black gloss, as well as to the assembly itself. No gaps, slips or "clumsy" fitted parts were found.Although, when you just take a box with a transmitter in your hands, it’s not really believe in its cool appearance, everything is too modest, even ascetic in design. I note that the transmitter can work from both 12V and 24V, which means it is suitable for both cars and trucks! And this is a big plus.Our transmitter is connected to a standard and completely standard cigarette lighter socket.So what we need to do to use this device. First you have to tinker a bit and find in your city or region such a VHF frequency on your car receiver, which is not used by any radio station. There is no problem in this, but the cleaner this frequency is, the less "interference" from radio stations and other radio emission. Even if you could not do it right away - it doesn't matter, you can always change the settings. So we set such a frequency on the auto-receiver and, if there is such an opportunity, we memorize it as a preset channel.The same frequency is set on the Bluetooth FM transmitter ULYCOOL, placing it gently in the cigarette lighter socket. This is understandable intuitively and very simply, even children can handle it. I like that kind of simplicity as usual. Why make simple devices difficult? After all, they are designed to facilitate our lives, and not vice versa.The button "with a green tube" indicates the following features ULYCOOL, in addition, of course, that it adjusts the volume. Although in my opinion, adjusting the volume on the transmitter is not needed, it is easier to make the controls of the car radio. So, on ULYCOOL, the volume was set once (I was just so full) and forgotten in that position. I smoothly turn to opportunity number 3.Thirdly, our ULYCOOL transmitter connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone, and this is a whole new world. This also makes it possible to listen to music and not only from the memory of the smartphone, but also from the Internet, but the main thing is the ability to use the speakers of your car as a speakerphone in the HandFree system, that is, to talk on the phone without taking up the receiver. Completely new option for an old car.The microphone is located on the ULYCOOL transmitter itself and it is quite powerful. Of course, the closer the cigarette lighter is to the driver’s face, the better you will be heard on the “other side” of the phone call, but this is not always possible. I have on Folsvagen, cigarette lighter socket is almost on the floor, but, nevertheless, the device performs its function.As you understand, to answer an incoming call, you just need to make a short press on the button with the handset, the same press will disconnect you, having spoken enough.But even in this ULYCOOL does not get surprised. At the time of the incoming call, the transmitter in "pure" English of one of the Chinese provinces will say the number of the subscriber who is calling you! What if you don’t want to answer, maybe you run off fishing from your wife, then, having recognized her number, you can simply not answer the call, or you can reset it by long pressing the same button with a green tube. Just kidding of course, but, nevertheless, this option is great, but we are not always on the road want to answer all incoming calls.But that's not all! If you still have a bad conscience for not answering an incoming call, you can call back by making two short presses on the same green button. ULYCOOL will do the rest for you by calling back to the last phone number. Like this! And is it worth it to change the old tape recorder to a new one, if you can just buy such a magical device that I got for 18.49 pounds! A ridiculous amount, much lower cost for the whole system.Another voice support will inform you about the source that is currently being used, whether Bluetooth is connected, and whether it will prompt you as well with the charge of your battery. Surprised? keep wondering, for this, such devices are created. So, immediately after placing the ignition key in its regular place, the ULYCOOL display looks, it shows voltage, informs you about connecting the battery power, then switches the display to the operating frequency, passing by saying that the device is in order and ready to work as well. .. and, yes, BT is connected :) After you start the car, the readings will be updated.What to say in the conclusion of the review. I praised the device in full. While I can not vouch for durability, the device I have not so long been available, but otherwise everything is on the highest score!I would like to find any cons, but, fortunately, I did not find it. Of course, you can begin to find fault with the fact that radio interference is possible, especially during long-term motion, when previously free frequencies are suddenly occupied. You can find fault with the fact that, since the microphone is far from your lips, the interlocutor hears you worse than we would like. The device display is the simplest, but it could be on the TFT matrix and show everything up to your body temperature, it doesn’t have elementary clocks ...But it’s like complaining that the water is wet, the salt is salty and so on. It is just necessary to objectively evaluate the capabilities of this particular device, purchased specifically for this small money. There is the possibility of acquiring more advanced transmitters, they won't have much more functionality, there will be differences in some external features and richer design, for example, a remote control or a large screen where the incoming call number is displayed, time, air temperature, and other signs of "good life".What did I get? +++ For a ridiculous amount, I got the opportunity to use the old car radio with all the practically new features. This does not apply to audio speakers, of course, they can be changed at will and at will, even on the newest car.+++ I received the HandsFree system in one package with the above features, and also two USB ports for charging or powering various gadgets.+++ I got a part of the comfort of a new car in the middle-aged conditions, without spending absolutely any serious amounts of money on it.+++ Well, and finally, not least, I received some emotional satisfaction from the correct purchase and its effective work and multifunctionality.It was not for nothing that I wrote at the very beginning that such a transmitter is a device that combined several technological epochs. I just jumped from the radio of my school years to a new version of the current century. And may you have at least an old film cassette with an old radio in your car, now new formats of music of new time are available to you!In a word - I recommend. The item is easy to set up I just popped in a memory card with my music on and connected it via Bluetooth to my phone, it's handy as it has a second usb port should you wish to charge or run sat nav etc at the same time. Overall a very handy bit of kit for people with an older vehicle.

The FM transmitter came packaged in a nice box with a useful manual in different languages. It also comes with a aux cable whoch is handy if you dont have bluetooth.The unit looks great, with a colour screen and big buttons for easy navigation. It was very easy to setup, just plugged in the socket and searched for the FM transmitter via bluetooth on my phone. It worked the 1st time I tried it.The music quality which is the main reason I got it is really nice with hardly any breakup. I really like the gact you can skip and rewind tracks using the buttons on the unit. My old one was terrible in comparison and the music would break up constantly.I have also used it to make hands free calls and it worked exactly how it should.There are two additional USB ports which is very useful for charging etc and the menu is straight forward to use.In summary, I really like this. Its so simple and convenient and a massive step up from what I was using before.

A realy good item , spund quality depend on how good your speakers are bass etc , its a fm transmitter so you will get alittle interferance just scroll thrpugh some freqeuncy and youl fimd a good one

Does the job very well, I've wired it in so I don't need to put it away every time, only annoying thing is the Chinese accent everytime it turns on.

Not to bad at all, was sceptical about the sound quality as older FM transmitters haven't always had good sound quality but this one was very good with very tiny amounts of static. Call quality is okay but i did find a minor issue with a call via this device to another cars inbuilt bluetooth that resulted in a very bass heavy sound and quite high volumes of background noise.

Good little unit which looks good, works well and doesn't look / feel cheap.Only issue is, it's a sloppy / loose fit in the lighter socket. I've not done it yet, but may wrap some electrical tape around it for a more secure fit.
