The Carrot Seed: 75th Anniversary: The Atlantic Essential Picture Book for Children about Believing, Patience, and Growing Dreams (Rise and Shine)

This book will be perfect for my 2 year old.Her attention span is very short right now so the vibrant yellow colour, whimiscal characters, short sentences and action will be perfect for her.The message in the book is that things always seem impossible until it is done and even though others may not believe in your dream, if you remain focus and persevere then it will become a reality.

I have enjoyed reading this book to children and adults. It is so encouraging and uplifting. It is perfect for someone who is constantly put down or told he or she cannot accomplish their dreams or goals. It is a quick read and makes a great object lesson. There is a reason why this book has stood the test of time. I highly recommend reading it frequently. It only takes a few minutes!

My 18-month-old will not let me put this book down. Your little one may or may not feel the same way. The illustrations are crisp and whimsical. The story itself is very basic--this is not a wordy book! My wife likes to skip a page or two, but that misses part of the point of the story, which is about patience and diligence being rewarded. This book would probably be best for children ages 1-3.

Minimal words on each page so great for that little page turner in your family ;)

I just bought three copies to give to people I work with this is one of the best books ever written simple, but it really shows the perseverance and will of a person and how they can change their life, as well as other others the simple message of the carrot seed

Our little girl (4 Y) loves this book and most of the time she chooses it for her bedtime story. It is very simple, and yet has a universal message about perseverance.
