Thought the volume was too small but the product is compact. Repotted a good number of my orchids and the roots look strong a month later.Can’t wait to see the benefit

It's good stuff, during this covid crisis almost anything from New Zealand supply chains is in rare supply - try to get NZ sphagnum as an average consumer - I dare you!Took an unreal amount of time to arrive from the east coast to the west. In the past couple off weeks I've realized that I won't buy anything from a third party that isn't a couple of states away because all the shipping agencies are grinding to a halt. Not this seller's fault - covid is making a mess of shipping lines world wide.The fern substrate was great, as expected you have to pick out a lot of sticks - but it's probably less than 5% sticks and lots of gooey wet aerated substrate for your moisture necessary growers like vandas and paphs/phrags.

I don't have much experience with using or buying tree fern fiber, but I think it looks okay and everything. This stuff has a nice texture with some chunks here and there. I'm not sure what to look for when it comes to "good quality tree fern", but it mixed into my tropical substrate well. So far so good, I guess. The tree fern didn't have a bad smell and I did not see any mites, pests, mold, etc. It comes slightly damp and the gallon bag is packed full.
