Even then; very carefully placed so as to just kill rodent pests. Better to use traps that can be removed in the house unless you have places you don’t care if it stinks. Be careful that pets and other animals can’t get to this poison! Read the label carefully! **Q: Will the dead rat.smell?** A: Definitely. I put this out and have dead rotting rats under my house, possibly in the walls, and in the attic. My house STINKS. BUT, I’d rather deal with the smell a week or so than months of breading rats. **Q: Can you just place the bait directly into the voles tunnel, will that work ?** A: Yes, absolutely. I use them in a bait box, but like where my shed is and other things that they were getting behind I would just put them out there loose. They also seem to like them and they seem to work. **Q: Can this product be used outdoors?** A: Yes, I’ve used it outside and it works well. ## Frequently Bought Together - JT Eaton 704-AP Bait Block Anticoagulant Rodenticide, Apple Flavor, for Mice and Rats (4 lb Pail of 64) - JT Eaton 704-PN Bait Block Anticoagulant Rodenticide, Peanut Butter Flavor, for Mice and Rats (4 lb Pail of 64) - Tomcat with Bromethalin Bait Chunx Pail, Rat and Mice Control for Agricultural Use and Professional Applicators, 4 lbs. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/91547224-bait-block-apple-flavor-rodenticide-4-lb-pail-effective-rodent](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/91547224-bait-block-apple-flavor-rodenticide-4-lb-pail-effective-rodent) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
