It had come to my attention that I purchased this item for another electronic piece I thought would work. It did not! But it turned out that this item did work for another electronic merchandise that needed a plug REAL BAD! Bravo! You never know when you may need the item but I'm so glad I bought it! It saved me.

I needed a replacement adapter for my Seagate Freeagent external drive and this fit perfectly! The longer cord made this even nice than my previous cord. It is a great product at a reasonable price.

Work as advertised.

The original adapter for my Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1 TB external hard drive was missing the piece that plugs into the outlet (not broken, but just couldn't find it). This T-Power AC/DC adapter worked well as a replacement; however, my only complaint is that it feels like it doesn't quite "snap" into place when inserting into my hard drive, so I had to make sure I didn't move the cord or it would come out of the hard drive. I don't know if I got a defective one, or there's something wrong with one end or the other or not. However, since I'm able to use it, and it does stay in for the most part, I feel like it was useful enough for the price.

I had a 15 year old external hard drive that stopped working 3 years ago. Had 12 years of videos and pictures in it. Thought it was a hardware malfunction and that I might need to bring it to a professional to recover it. Researched some data recovery centers near me and found out I would need to fork out $300-$500 to recover my data. Decided to try out replacing the power cord to see if it might just be an aging power cord. Ordered this cord on Amazon, plugged it to my hard drive, and wallah it powered on like it came back from the dead!!! Now i have access to years of priceless pictures and videos for only $15! I used it like twice for my external hard drive and it quit working when I was trying to set up my external hard drive with my new PC. Tried it on other devices, doesn't work at all. Disappointing, I can't even return it.

Living in the country had an issue with an unwanted friend who chewed through my power cable. These replacements are outstanding.

I bought this for a seagate hard drive and I found that I could use it for a few other electronic items.

My seagate drive mysteriously quit working. I was faced with a 250 $ data recovery charge to get our family pictures back. There were blogs on the internet that said it may be a failing power supply that was the problem even though all the light lit and it was getting power. So for this price it was worth a shot and it worked. I have access to all my data for the price of this power supply. We are very happy.

Seems like a great product, unfortunately I think my hard drive is broken so I won't be able to use this adapter. I will say that the T-Power staff were super helpful and tried their best to get me an adapter that would work with my external HD. They really went above and beyond so I have no doubt you will be happy if you buy from them!

Arrived before delivery date, so far working great. The original adapter burnt when I plugged it into a new socket, so I looked around for a replacement on Amazon - this one is working perfectly so far!
