## Description

The Anderson Metals street tee pipe fitting is made of brass barstock and has female and male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections. This street tee is a T-shaped fitting with three openings used to connect and branch three female and male pipes, two on the main run and one branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. Pipe dimensions for tees are represented as A x B x C. "A" and "B" indicate the main run on the fitting, and "C" indicates the branch. It has female and male NPT threads on either end of the main run and female NPT threads on the branch outlet for connecting to three threaded pipes. The NPT threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is made from brass barstock for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass barstock is machined to creating a seamless, dense material that resists splitting and leaking. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel. The operating temperatures for this fitting range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F). Review: Portable - Perfect fit
Review: Excellent machined fitting... - I really like Anderson's brass fittings.... And this one is certainly one of the best. This barstock tee is extremely strong and well made. I found the threads to be well formed and well within the "standard" for size. They felt extremely "smooth" going together and all appropriately sized fittings mated up perfectly without bottoming or leaking. The sidewalls are strong and allow for a good gipping surface for tightening and retention in place without danger of damage or collapse of the fitting due to tool pressure. I don't believe there is a better product on the market for it's intended usage. Five (5) stars for a great product at a reasonable price. While in the process of a project, I purchased several of these tees in different sizes and configurations....this is one of them. I have posted a substantially similar review for each of the tees I purchased....

**Q: which is the working pressure?**
A: I called Anderson and was told the working pressure is 1200 PSI.

**Q: What is the internal diameters Male Pipe part?**
A: with those parts not in front of me I'd have to guess that the internal diameters are about the size of the fitting description. Using a 1/4 inch fitting as an example, the inside is about 1/4 the outside is about 3/8 or so...sorry i can't be more specific.

**Q: Is this fitting compatible with a 1/8th" NPT oil pressure gauge using 27 threads per inch?**
A: Yes, threads are 1/8" NPT.

I really like Anderson's brass fittings.... And this one is certainly one of the best. This barstock tee is extremely strong and well made. I found the threads to be well formed and well within the "standard" for size.
