Oomphy!
This is a true 20 A supply. I use it to run four 5 A boosters on a DCC layout, and it has no problem. It's got the usual banana plug/large lug screws connectors on the front panel, but note: the separation is not compatible with standard dual banana plugs. Also, the power chips are on the fins on the back, so keep the rear of this unit well ventilated and not butted up against other stuff.

Best Linear Power Supply in This Price Range
I love everything about it. Super-quiet: both the unit itself, as well as the fact that it emits no electrical noise into the radio shack where it's being used. I have two transceivers running off of it. I have yet to hear the fan. It's a very nice looking unit.Make sure to buy very wide fork crimp connectors (5/16" wide between fork tines) or banana plugs. The binding posts are 8 millimeters wide, so your fork connectors will have to clear that size post, so buy 5/16". Ring connectors won't work, because the black and red post binders are not removable. To avoid soldering, I used size 12-10 insulated forks, extra wide, and doubled the stripped wires into each connector to run two transceivers, then used a crimp tool. It really streamlined the visual appearance to do this. I love this power supply! This seller, like the manufacturer, is top class. Seller promised delivery by December 30, and it arrived on the 23rd!Highly recommended seller and power supply!

Output is proper but the operation is louder than other models.
This is the third TekPower power supply I have in use. This PS has a noticeable humm noise while the two larger models I use are extremely quiet. Also, when this PS is turned on there is a loud initial thud sound unlike the other two we own. So far it has produced the proper output.

Arrived damaged with loose screws
I bought this power supply because I had a Pyramid 14 Amp power supply that kept going into protected mode with my HF rig on full power. It works, but it arrived with one of the heatsinks barely hanging on and the other one completely loose with not one screw still secure. As a result, one of the heatsinks is bent.I found two of the screws in the box it was shipped in, loose, and the third one inside the power supply itself. I took the cover off and removed the screw, put everything back together, and fired it up. So far, so good. I've used the HF rig for a couple of days running the full 100 watts with no problems so far.

Works very nicely!
Solid power from a linear supply. Was having a problem when keying my TS-590 waiting for the switching power supply to ramp up to the required current. This power supply does not have any problems with delivering the required current at the required voltage. Seems to be well made but it does run a little hot on the heat sinks under load. Overall, very satisfied for the price.

A real boat anchor and one that does the job!
Arrived intact and operational. Powers a 100W transceiver with no hash that a switcher would. Archaic technology but appears to be bullet proof. Does the job and am very happy!
