Don’t do it! Look elsewhere.
Got this for an afternoon snack. With crackers or fruit, like apple. Don’t buy this. Horrible flavor! The cheese was ‘mealy’, not smooth. It crumbled more like a sharp aged cheddar. The mouth feel was awful, the flavor not good at all. If you want a good smoked Gouda, try Boars Head, at your local grocery store. Don’t waste your money on this. Nasty! Definitely won’t purchase this again. My dog turned it down.

Has a great smokey flavor
YESSSSSSSSSSS. Hands down a damn good cheese. Love gouda and even more if it’s smoked. Not sure what the reviewers saying this tastes like cheddar are talking about because I also got the Smoky Park smoked cheddar and they are distinctly different. Can’t speak to those that said they got mealy cheese because mine was smoooth. Ate the whole thing by myself (not in one sitting). This cheese is where it’s at. Granted I’m not a cheese snob, but I like cheese. No, I love cheese.

I've purchased this twice, and will do so until I'm sick of it. It's good cheese. Delicately smoked, soft, and tasty. I loved it.

Did not taste like smoked gouda and was really hard.
I didn't like this one because it's not what I'm used to eating when I buy smoked gouda. It tasted more like white cheddar. It also was very hard to slice, which is odd to me for gouda. The dog liked it!

I've had better, not a fan. Not a lot of flavor other than smoky. Trader joes has really good sliced Smoked Gouda for $2.99. I also tried another smoked gouda that i liked better than this one.
